"Well once again, number 13 came out swinging. Michelle was there tonight and made sure we had the same table as before and we just absolutely love it. We didn't wait long to be seated. We had phenomenal service again. Our food I felt was better than the first time. My wife and I had the Filet and the lobster tail and Mac and cheese. Soooo good. My espresso martini was very good and came out promptly. The service team worked great together. This is definitely our guilty pleasure when we come into Galveston. Thanks again Number 13. Fire as always."

"So...I can’t give a five star rating because it’s not ALL vegan?? Lame. They deserve a million stars!! Any place that can take their menu and adapt it to be vegan is simply spectacular. The Empire tacos were so good we ordered another order after our first try!! We have loved Chef since she was at another location with a different name. It’s been ages and she remembered us!! And, it isn’t everywhere the people that you are with says “I’ll come here again and try your plate!”, when they are from Dallas and having one of each already "

"the waiter was nice and made a great job when it came to serve the meal. perhaps the best part of the experience. eating was good, but not great. the people tend to like the place, so I'm not sure we just had a bad day, another cook or whatever. we are there for the day of my wife. I had added this to the reservation. they did nothing for it. on the other side, I didn't shut them down to let them know. I thought the resw was good enough what is the case in the rule. So, they don't know if they look at the notes on the reservation or not. the atmosphere was very beautiful."

"Our food was excellent but it came too soon. We ordered our drinks and appetizers And food all at the same time. We did this because we had looked at the menu I had of time, but never thought our waitress would be bringing our main entry before we even finished our first drink. There were also quite a bit of crying babies around us, which can be so aggravating, but it was dinner time and I’m sure they had long days too."

"Us brothers came from all over the states Michigan, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Florida and Dallas texas to spend time with with each other catching up. We enjoyed our lunch here, the service was good and the food is good. Pat's Ribeye was pretty good didn't need any steak sauce. That's how you know you have a good steak.The appetizers are pretty good as well. If we're back in gavelston and looking for a good place for Steak will definitely come back here again."

"I was just at this pho place yesterday, and though there were a decent number of tofu dishes in their own section that appeared vegan vegetarian, the waitress informed me that all of them except the D6 (tofu and mixed vegetables, which was great) had chicken seasoning (broth I'm assuming) in their sauces. So, ask before you order anything here."

"The cooking special fish (Gulf Snapper) shrimp with raspberry sauce was very delicious. Service was phenomenal! Wow! Oysters were raised by Louisiana. They were really creamy, but I miss this Sole/Liquor. Except season possibly. Anyway, the service was amazing. The almond coconut fought salmon was one of their most popular dishes we were told so we ordered it. EXCELLENT! We had two little ones with us and they enjoyed each one the chicken fetters and also the adults who took bites of it. I hope they work on their wine list. A little more choice of wines and more intermediate price would be great. Yeah, we're coming back. So many great dishes you cannot go wrong with this place."

"It’s been a while since I’ve given out 5 stars but when it’s been earned, it’s been earned. The ribeye steak medium well was a 10. I’ve eaten at great steakhouses all over the world and was just floored that a ribeye steak, at a seafood restaurant in Galveston, TX was that good. The side of beans and asparagus, must be the raw ingredients in “crack”, as I could have just picked at those all night. Not much more to add than what a gem and I know the people of Galveston must be awfully happy and proud to have a restaurant like that in their city."

"We have dined at Vargas on previous occasions. I will say this visit will likely be our last. We had not one but THREE Filet’s come out well done when ordered Medium rare. When you send a steak back and the replacement comes out MORE done than the one you sent back there is an issue. Or server stated this was the 5th one this evening. At this point the dinner was ruined. It’s impossible to enjoy an anniversary dinner together when one person spends the evening waiting on food while the other person is done. The only offer was to take off the ONE bad steak. The point of spending an this much on dinner is to have a nice EDIBLE dinner TOGETHER, not separate. Several hundred dollars was wasted and its not worth taking that chance again."

"Cute, small restaurant. I suggest making reservations. Service very friendly and inviting. The anti pasta board was a great appetizer. The salads were very good. The entrees were absolutely delicious. The four of us all loved our choices. Shrimp scampi with homemade pasta, vegetable lasagna, and eggplant parmigiana were amazing. Everything is fresh and homemade, so dinner takes a while. Good wine list. So glad to have found this little gem!"

"This is my favorite breakfast in Galveston! Everyone who works there is always so happy and friendly. We love to sit outside when the weather permits, otherwise we sit inside and enjoy it just as much. You also have a case with many pastries, we could not resist buying a few before we left, we got a blueberry muffin and an almond croissant, both were fresh and delicious. My husband ordered the small breakfast, although it is not called, it is still a lot of food and very filling! I had a Belgian waffle with fresh berries, it was perfect. They did not sneak on the berries that were very appreciated, and it also had fresh whipped cream. I enjoyed every bite, especially with the 100% maple syrup."

"Please read. If you're looking for an Italian place, it's that. Spent per month in Galveston, and we ate here 4-5 times because it is so good!! We have tried a variety of things and had only one thing we don't care about. With one of her pizzas, you can't go wrong. It's delicious. The same could be said for her pasta. We tried the Tortellini alfredo, baked ziti both were delicious! All pasta comes with freshly baked bread, which is always beautiful. Who doesn't love bread?! Her tomatoes basil soup is hands down the best soup I've ever had in my life, I'm not joke. You have to try. It is a little on the expensive side, but you get large portions of fresh bread with it too. As far as the service is concerned, we never had a problem. We had the same server almost every time we got in, we never had to wait for refills. He refilled Willis as soon as it was less than half, always took extra plates or garbage out of the table, so it was refreshing to have great food and service. Definitely recommend when you are in Galveston."

"Pamela's birthday on the beach was with great dinner time in Fisherman's Wharf as the cake is with a cherry topped. We could not have wished. Great atmosphere, food and the best company I celebrated Pamela 's BD turned out to be... we were in the best place at the best time. Since we travel RV all the time, we believe that it is important to leave reviews for restaurants and businesses that we visit on the street. Fisherman's Wharf is a dynamic restaurant with many rare and historical decorations that make us feel like traveling back to history. While shooting indoor photography, I always use the advantage of waiting for the food around the restaurant and shooting interiors to use for the reviews. "I had steak all over Texas, and that was the worst I ever had. Pays twice the price as a lot of restaurants round, and it was not worth 2% of the cost. Steak was ordered as medium size, it was cooked medium to medium size. The frits were obviously cooked in the same oil as the shrimps, so they tasted pretty?Fish?. Mentioned both questions when he asked about my meal, no answer was given. The staff was very good and friendly. You're the only reason this place even gets a star. Many other places to choose, so do not disturb to pay the premium to eat here."

"this is our favorite restaurant galveston for 15 years, but the reception and service have drastically declined. we arrived early on a Friday night and the high-ranking hostess was not polite at all, so we feel as if we were making them uncomfortable through this. the younger hostess looked at us apologetic, as if she recognized the smallest. we had to wait for us to sit due to several “reservations”, but these tables remained empty our entire meal. the male server was completely inconspicuous and when we asked for a thing, he actually said: “I have other tables.” Why forget the restaurants that the quality of service is almost as important as the quality of food? tipped $100 on a $290 bill anyway, because the food was divine. they try to make a Saturday full for every Sunday, but they were said to be they. on Sunday it was trying to see if we could sit on the bar or on separate tables anyway at 10:55 a.m., and while senior cabin hostess said yes first, 5 minutes later she said we had to come back in 2 1/2 hours. the restaurant was completely empty, but for 3 other small families also waited for the service. we are not difficult customers and are great drinking money. please work on their customer service and/or have a floor manager/supporter with strong human knowledge."
