"I left a 2-star because my son enjoyed his meal and, although we only had a chance to order one, the drinks were good as well.We made reservations and had high hopes for Grateful Goat Brewing and Provisions, especially for brunch on Mother's Day. While the initial greeting was warm and welcoming, the experience quickly soured. Despite an incredibly lengthy wait, and lack of service, we were excited when our food arrived.I ordered a waffle with burboun apples and candied walnuts...sounds delicious, right!? I wouldn't know as I received a plain waffle. When I questioned my order the gentleman took it back stating that he would return with the correct order. After quite some time, someone else returned to the table to let me know they do not have candied walnuts and that is why I received a plain waffle. She then apologized and asked if I wanted a menu or the waffle. It was over an hour into our Mother's Day Brunch at this point, and my family had nearly finished their meal so, for the sake of timeliness, I elected to have a plain waffle; when it finally arrived, it was cold, soggy, and tasteless. Had I been notified sooner that they did not have the ingredients to make my meal, I would have happily ordered something different and possibly enjoyed brunch with my family."
