"I was invited to em brass to celebrate my birthday. Although the summers in düsseldorf are unpredictable, we had luck this evening and sat outside on one of those long wooden tables that are typical of annual markets where you share the place with other customers. Although we sat on the civic ascent and sometimes passed by car, it was a quiet night with a certain perfume atmosphere, people well dressed (with taste), but not exaggerated elegant (hippen, young, modern). the service was very friendly and attentive. we ate cold appetizers and main dishes: ceviche (a re-interpretation of these dishes: with fresh fish, but without mais, or coriander, but with a mixture of crumbs and pumpkin pieces), otopussalat (warm), auberginenburger with salat all accompanied by white or rosé wine. they actually offer a rather extensive wine card. to the dessert hot chocolate cake (it was not exactly a souffle, since the heart was not liquid) with vanilla ice cream and red berries. everything was delicious and better than expected (I was the last time more than 4 years there). the restaurant reinterprets some famous dishes, but also has own culinary compositions. the cool would be to enjoy until midnight, but unfortunately this is not possible due to the ordering authority (alone that monitors the opening times of the spaces in order to avoid much noise at night on the roads)."
