"our summer holiday this year was not under a good star. a day before our departure forced an unplanned stay in the hospital emergency accommodation with subsequent all inclusive stay in the attached establishment to a short-term redispository. the two nights fell to sacrifice as well as the first of three nights in oberstdorf, and so unfortunately also the related reservations in michelin stared houses. After all, we were glad to arrive on the trip, but spontaneously had to organize the first station in the Allgäu. A reservation in the second star restaurant in oberstdorf was unfortunately no longer possible in the short term, but in the romantic hotel the freiberg, which is responsible for a large number of restaurants in the place, there is also that with a bib gourmand excellent “The Fetzwerk”. interieur in original ambiente is realized here an unconventional concept for allgäuer relationships. Originally assembled bistro dishes are served in wake-glasses, each of which is either regional, Mediterranean or Asian. in each category there is also a vegetarian, meat or fish variant. The standards are supplemented by some daily recommendations. In addition to a small but solid selection of wines, the "Fetzwerk" is also dedicated to beer culture and offers a lot of suitable craft beers, preferably from the region. handcrafted beer we try through the map and through all categories and start from the heading “home” on one side with salmon trout and poulardenbrust. the fish itself is discreetly marinated and accompanied by warm beans all kinds that receive a fruity effect by apricot. On the other hand, the poularde is on the cozy side with carrots, sugar chodes and fine wheat. the finely cut vegetables are still nicely crunchy and both aligned that creams provide a connecting element. Lachsforelle, beans, apricot, forest stage patriotic poularde poulardenbrust, carrots, sugar chocolates, estrich, fine wheat from the Mediterranean division continues with garlands with Mediterranean vegetables and gnocchi as well as baked blue sky risottocro chains. The latter lacks a little of the distinctive blue-skin taste, makes Boulgur, Paprika, Aubergine and Kapern a clear location south of the Alps. gambretto stiletto garnelen, gnocchi, minestrone, olive round rice(s) blue cheese, bulgur, paprika, auberginen, kapern continues to asia. on one side, with the duck breast, the necessary pipe, especially with curry and coconut almond, and the fish chocolate I selected, and in which I like the alga You must not be tempted to believe that it is a shame. they are already quite grown glasses with a correct capacity, so that three glasses per person are absolutely sufficient. Therefore, the desserts are now a certain challenge for appetite. from the recommended day there is a spring-valid crème brûlée from the tone candy as well as from the two standard desserts from the card a panna cotta with a compote of exotic fruits. but this dessert does not mean knocking without reason. a vanilla parfait, surrounded by a chocolate-coated and partly covered with chocolate in heart shape, crowns the glass. However, the parfait is still so frozen that it takes some time until it can be eaten without accident and without organizing a wild massacre in the glass. tonkabehnen crème Brûlée herz knock exotic fruits, panna cotta was tobias eisele, also responsible for the star restaurant “Maximilians”, in glasses in the “Fetzwerk” has simply charm. the dishes are oriented to uncomplicated spoons and if you work from top to bottom, you can best capture the entire chord of each glass. that is all sufficient and harmoniously conceived. that there was one or the other, like the cheese crocket, is the too hard parfait or the slightly dry escape, which was not completely perfect, no break. For this, the refreshing concept makes too much fun, which also the attentive and simple service has its good part and remains inexpensive in the very acceptable framework. the glasses are calculated with a cut of 8 euros fair and appropriate. the colleague daueresser has made us curious with his criticism of the “Fetzwerk” and of course I have read the very different opinions about it here. I was already sympathetic about the description, and I am convinced that if you simply let yourself in, you can see very quickly that here, although in a somewhat unusual form, very good quality is offered and all this then also with fun factor! We at least liked it and who in allgäu is looking for an alternative to the swath and knödeln, find here a restaurant that can work in this way."

"My wife told me about the steam brewery in advance. A colleague of her was recently there and in the last week of November has reserved a table for January and one for February in the steam brewery, the place is known that it is often full. Also in my online search I stumbled over the brewery that offers a so-called cheap lunch table for 6.90 under the week and weekend. Also, as a possible visit, I chose on Wednesday, after the homepage is Wednesdays the trade fair beer day, the measure for 5,90. As a coincidence, we went on last Wednesday from the Oberstdorfer P2 parking lot, shortly after 12 o'clock in the direction of Oberstdorfer Bahnhof, a stone's throw lying the steam brewery. We had not reserved, we were offered a table outdoors (there was a lot to go) and inside (also a lot to go). We moved into a table. From our place we had a wonderful view over the place and could consider driving. Oberstdorf is beautiful. The municipality is the southernmost in Germany. In 1992 the local centre for road transport was blocked. By car arrivals about 1,000 parking spaces can be used at the entrance of the village and by bus to the centre. A pedestrian zone consists of large parts of the village centre, the remaining areas are mostly traffic-smooth. The steam brewery therefore has a very good starting position, almost directly at the station. We study the map and see here, today is Massbiertag, every measure 5,90. I ask the very friendly waiter whether this also applies to yeast wheat, yeast bright and dark. It applies. Fantastic, with me it should be a normal yeast wheat, that was then very dark, but it tasted very good. My wife decides for the Pepsi Light. The 1.2 kilo of witch is served at our table neighbour, which is a serving. We swallow. I had to swallow quickly, the measure was lazy after half, tasteful, but okay. My wife decides for the cheese biscuits mixed with spicy mountain cheese with salad, I for the offered lunch table. According to the map, boss Walter Bauer and his team are preparing a wide range of dishes for guests with love and care. The richness of the offer includes Allgäuer specialties, as well as Swabian delicacies, along with hand-made Bavarian classics and for those who deliberately want to eat light slums and vital food. The kitchen places great emphasis on quality and freshness in all dishes. Regional products from domestic agriculture and from the Allgäu wild stock are processed. That alone, of course, brings the bar a little higher, so we were excited. The specialties of the house are: the Allgäuer Käspatzen, the Bavarian Krustenbraten and the traditional Schweinshaxe. To the homemade cheeses is served in advance a side salad that was beautifully dressed, but mostly consisted of cheap yellow leaf salad (iceberg), but it was tasteful, thanks to the dressage, okay. The then rich cheese puffs of the original Allgäuer type could almost be served in Munich. The cheese was very spicy, almost a zig too strange, for the delicate taste of my better half. I've already eaten your comment on the cheese parrots, but it was tastefully fine. I had the lunch table Allgäuer Leberkäs Cordon Blue. The liver cheese was very crispy, which was very good. Filled with simple cooking ham and cold cut cheese. The added potato cucumber salad was pleasant to eat. Due to the acid of vinegar, this is well suited together with the strong liver cheese. The part was absolutely sufficient, even if I was hungry an hour later. Along with the very spicy (and unfortunately also very powerful) cheeses I come to 3 stars at dinner. The service was very good at our visit, so I come to an overall rating of 3.5 stars. Conclusion: With the description of food on the homepage and on the map you want to play a league higher. Food is too easy, especially if salads lack the right products from agriculture. Recommended only the offered table for 6.90"

"In total we were in Ober Allgäu for eight days, on one day we chose Christles as the destination of our hike. The trettach originates south of Oberstdorf near the Trettachspitze and is about 14 km long. From its source the Trettach flows through the same-named Trettachtal via Spielmannsau, Christlessee, Gruben through Oberstdorf In the slopes my wife and I went through relevant guides, at the hotel recommendations that we repeatedly met the Paulaner Waldhotel am Christlessee, clearly, we wanted to make a picture on site. Once, the Hotel Restaurant (approximately 94 recommendation) and the integrated café only enchants guests, but we looked at the hotel. Nice spa, no car, no bus to hear. Pure nature. Only Paulaner beers are presented, also at the All inclusive option (a must for me to book a few days with my wife next year). Below the magical lake, the water is crystal clear, it shimmers blue, green and mint, we discover another café / restaurant that does not like to accommodate hotel guests, also with the name Restaurant Christlessee the ambience truly unique, a true dream. 360 degrees around only huge mountains, many bicycles and hiking trails, which are also ideal for long-distance skiers in the snow. On your own homepage, you will advertise with the slogan Gunn dr amol a bizle Rüe directly at the lake, which never freezes through the steady supply of spring water, make our visit almost unique this week. We're lucky outside, there were mild 10 degrees, there was still a table on the wall free. We study the successful menu, many Allgäu specialties, some kitchen cooks and salads. For food, mainly products and meat from own agriculture or from the region are used. The wilderness is taken by the local hunt. What we noticed, many guests decide about the main meal for sweet, also on the homepage that you advertise for these treats. Kaiserschmarrn (soften well on the neighboring table), potato buffer with cinnamon apple or the baked cheese cake with vanilla sauce. The prices for sweet and savoury dishes, partly with salad, about 10 euros. After our close 5 kilometers long march from the parking lot we had to go to the Jagawirt in Schöllang, also with the knowledge in the evening, and we had a sweet walk in the back of the head. It should be the recommendations of the cook, cheese puffs with green salad (8,90), as well as herbal crimps with rich bacon beer sauce and a mixed salad for 9,90. I had imagined something completely different among the crabs, when a born plum I thought such shrub noodles were with herbs and bacon. Far missed!! A paste of flour, egg and water is first thinly rolled out for the herbs. In a pan, herbs with spices are fried sharply, this herb is then spread on this dough plate and rolled to a stem, these are then cut into thicker slices and baked in a lot of butterschmalz. My wife and I were not surprised. The service was generally very friendly, all done alone. She seemed professional, attentive, always in the background and had everything in mind. The cheese puppets were the knaller. Nice creamy, I think mixed with Emmental and neat spicy mountain cheese, the binding was very creamy, you probably added a Klecks cream rich. The green salad consisted of many different green leaf salads, which was excellent as the cheese. The scratches were also the Mega Knaller. The noodle dough excellent crispy, the herbs had bites, the dark sauce and the tasty bacon matched the eye like the famous fist. I still had cucumber salad under my green leaf salad, fresh carrot pancakes, radish salad (that was sensational) and herbal salad. The beverage prices also within the framework, I had two Allgäuer yeast bees 0.5 for 3.30 my wife two Rhabarber Schorle 0.4 for 2.90. Conclusion: At the next visit we will definitely return here. Recommendation!"
