"Delicious food, friendly staff in a beautiful environment. What else could you ask? Try the bread with hummus, eggplants and olive oil for diving. Alex D was my waiter and he was pleasant and knowledgeable. He was super friendly and always ready with a proposal when he was asked. The lunch menu is a 3-course-prix fixation, with additional Sharables options(around $10) I chose the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the flat iron steak and tried the blueberry cake with landmass cream to dessert. Everything was excellent, and there was more than enough food for me! There were the perfect little touches everywhere, like fresh flowers in the bathroom. I left a gift card because I know that the couple I bought also loves it. While you are in the area, visit the flower bridge just a mile or less away"

"Best Mexican food we’ve had in a very long time. Roberta provided terrific service. Really good margaritas. And the tacos (especially fish and fried chicken) were fantastic. It’s a new place and fairly small but very hospitable. We like it. Try it and ask for Roberta. She’s a gem."

"Abigail’s is consistently good but also very noisy. The service was great. The food came out in a timely manner. We were not rushed. My only concern is that we had much difficulty carrying on a conversation because of the noise level. We came for dinner on a weeknight hoping it wouldn’t be so loud but it was just as busy and noisy as on a weekend."

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic. I dined here tonight with two of my children thanks to a generous gift certificate provided by the restaurant. My oven is currently out of commission, so this meal was a lifesaver until after Christmas when I can get it fixed. We have been here before and are always welcomed warmly, it feels like being with family. The Indian music playing in the background adds to the ambiance. The staff is very friendly and the generosity they showed us is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience."

"Looking for a very nice, fancy, 3 course meal for that date that you're trying to impress? This is the place. Typically 3 course meal restaurants charge a crazy price, but Metro Bis only charges $60 per a person. The course sizes are almost perfect that by the time you reach desert, you're completely full. Just remember, dress to impress. Update Unfortunately the food has dropped after a year of my last visit. The salad had been drowned in dressing, and the creme Brule was burnt (not the way it should be). I'd still say if you're okay with spending a lavish amount of money, try it out. If not, ignore it. I do not recommend the drinks unfortunately, as they are extremely overpriced. And if you want wine, you're better off buying the bottle there than getting a glass. The building is beautiful though, weekend nights can get very crowded however. The main course was cooked very well."

"we had great hopes for this restaurant, but were at the end disappointing. we ordered cocktails and fried pickel to start, cocktails were very good and the fried pickel were delicious. I ordered the jambalaya and my man ordered the catfish dinner. my salate was very basic, green, cherry tomato halves and peeled cheese. no salate with the Wels dinner. my jambalaya was barely served warm and was over spiced; the fries with the catfish dinner were soggy and the cat was over cooked. on the dessert. I am gf (the menu has many gf options and the attraction for the try of this restaurant), so tried the beignets. my man ordered the regular beignets. my first came out, buried in powder sugar and undercooked. in 15 minutes later the dessert of my man came. underwhelmed. the kitchen has to learn how to step properly and serve their food. Beyond that, the place is very loud and the singer/band in the next room was so loud, we couldn't talk to each other! very disappointing experience and we will not even give it another chance."

"This is the place you want to go for a a great dinner, great drinks and amazing service! Beers on tap are a perfect mix of local craft breweries and simple reliable options like bud light and yeungling or yuengling...listen you try spelling it without looking it up. The food is always amazing between just the appetizers to the full meals you can't go wrong! Finally the service from everyone here is perfect, food and drinks come out faster than the drugs at a party hosted by Steven Tyler and Charlie sheen but I digress. You will definitely love it once you get here and you will hate to leave when the food is gone and the beers empty trust me, also shout out to Emily, Sheridan and Mark for making our quick trip out turn into an outstanding night looking forward to seeing y'all again!"

"Another enjoyable dining experience at Marco's. We brought a friend this time. We shared the spinach and artichoke crostini to begun. Our friend enjoyed the Spinach Sacchettini, giving it high marks. One of us had the Bolognese, the other the Blue Cheese Alfredo. Both are favorite dishes at Marco's. They did not disappoint."

"This is an outstanding restaurant. I took my mother out for a better late than never Mother's Day dinner and our waiter, Ron, was immaculate. A member in our party had a food allergy and while able to enjoy the tour of the cuisine they offered, Ron made sure to make them feel included as well recommending certain dishes and being sure that while the others ate their dishes, they were able to eat at the same time. The staff is very friendly and they all work as a team helping to give everyone a pleasurable dining experience there. I hope to be back again, it is all well worth it."

"This is the worst salad I have ever eaten. I tried the New! Buffalo Chicken Salad with "grilled chicken," but it was not real chicken - just the pre-made kind you get in a bag. The salad had very little toppings and was only covered in buffalo sauce. The Buffalo Chicken wrap was also terrible, with no description of the ingredients, and the fries were soggy. It was not worth the $17 I paid for each dish. I will not be returning to this restaurant again. Such a disappointment."

"Family owned by a wonderful, warm friendly family, Main Moon has become a Simsbury treasure as far as I'm concerned; and have lived in this town for almost 50 years. The food is very reliable, meaning once you've had a dish, you can expect it to always taste just as good as the first time you enjoyed it. Service is friendly, delivery is always very speedy! These people own work there work too hard and too many hours, but they always greet customers warmly and with lots of friendly smiles. We have many favorite dishes, so let me tell you some of them you should consider trying! I'll do appetizers now, and continue in future reviews. APPETIZERS WANTON CHICKEN BROTH based SOUPS: Both the House Special regular versions are OUTSTANDING! Every time we are sick, and especially if I'm not feeling well enough to make my homemade matzo ball soup, we order their soup! Their broth is amazing. Your soup will arrive with so many wantons or noodles chicken noodle or chicken rice are equally as delicious and chicken, we usually order additional quarts of broth! HOT SOUR SOUP: This is the only place I like hot sour soup. Taste is very good. GINGER WANTONS: oh my goodness... just order these; trust me! Even leftover and cold from the fridge has an amazing taste and texture. So good! EGG ROLLS: Best egg rolls in the valley. I recommend the pork egg rolls. And order the homemade duck mustard sauces trust me.. so worth the 1 . Mix the sauces together.. adding the mustard in small amounts because even if you have a bad cold, it will clear your sinuses! , bite one end off and scoop the sauce on top like an ice cream cone. When my father taught me this technique and said it was a chemical reaction . Let me know what you think if you try it. SPARERIBS: Again Main Moon is the best! ... with bones or boneless you will be pleased if you like them. HUNAN WONTON: Delicious! The peanut inspired sauce goes so well with these. To be honest, I have never had an appetizer from Main Moon that I didn't love. If you have questions about something not mentioned please reach out to me."

"very satisfied with the totality of popover bistro and bakery. the service, the eating, the ambiente and so much more talked to me than the individual. have recently really felt raw vegetables instead of cooked meals. I feel that the oils weigh me more from any reason. in any case, I had plans to go to whole foods for the salatbar until I stumbled on popover right next to the dieucks I worked on. with a few bakery articles that were vegan, their Buddha bowl, their sweet bowl, and Acai bowl, and a Chia bowl, there are some possibilities at the moment. new menu comes from 10/16/17!!! and they assured me more vegan options along with the: so much looking forward to the return! I ended up with a buddha bowl with the veggie burger instead of the tempo. with a beautiful row of veggies, delicious salsa and quinoa, and a beautiful bed of arugula underneath, I was in the sky. and not to mention the meals come with a side of a popover or sourded brot and jam for us vegan. and younger it was delicious. safe was a busy place, and I was the only type in the entire restaurant for a good time. I was told that the place was started by some women in the city, but look forward to their continued growth and hopefully some more people at the place! again thanks for their entire team."

"The food here is well-prepared and flavorful. The chutneys are incredible, you can tell they are made there. We had the Chicken Korma, Yellow Dal and Muttar Paneer today and all three were great. Enough for two people for lunch and a take-home meal. I highly recommend this family-owned place."

"This is the BEST Italian/Americana fusion you?re gonna find in the heart of Simsbury, actually I?d be bold enough to say it, in the VALLEY! So good. If you live nearby or just passing through, you owe it to yourself to come to Soma. Great staff as well, we were seated in a matter of minutes! This is on a Friday night folks. So good. Everything from the pan seared scallops appetizer down to the decadent strawberry cheesecake : I?m going to have to run a few miles tonight but all worth it!!! (PS, the lobster ravioli will melt in your mouth and the PO boy fried shrimp sandwich is one of the best I?ve had in the northeast I?d rate 6/5 if I could. Definitely a repeat customer in the making : Even the owner was nice enough to stop what he was doing to come check on us 20-somethings. That says a lot about his character. We will be back for more!"
