"When I pulled up they were extremely busy however I received my order in less than 5 minutes plus I ordered through the app and drinks were half off the beef patties were seasoned perfectly and had plenty of toppings on my burger. I would definitely recommend stopping here."

"Earlier tonight I went ordered 6 livers that should have came with a roll or biscuit. I received what can count as 4 livers if you were being generous. No roll was in the box. The family size order of rolls mostly looked okay but one if them was nearly demolished across the whole top. I didn't have time to eat till after they were closed or I would have called in asked about the amount. Since u had spent 30 minutes prior to going to the restaurant trying to call the order in to a constant busy signal maybe after closing I could have gotten through."

"I would never write a review for a random McDonald’s in small town Texas. But HOLY COW. I had a double cheeseburger here that was absolutely, unbelievable. I almost ordered another because it was so stinking good. I have no idea what they did, but if McDonald’s served burgers this good all of the time, they’d probably have double the business. The bathroom was clean, the rest of the dining room was messy but not dirty. Wow. I’d drive out of my way to come here again if I could have that same burger."

"My wife and I were in town and decided to have dinner at The Butcher Block. On the website it said they were open until 10, when we arrived at 8 there was a sign on the door that read they were closing at 9. That being said the service was still excellent and we never felt rushed. We ordered cheese curds for an appetizer, they arrived quickly and tasted great. My wife ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl for her dinner and I ordered chicken fried steak with a side salad. The side salad was a bowl of lettuce with three slices of tomatoes on it so nothing special. The chicken fried steak however was massive and tasted great! The steak fries were ok. Overall for roughly $17 it was worth the price. My wife's meal was a different story. First let me say the portion was huge but quantity isn't always everything. She ordered teriyaki but this dish had heat, as in spice, and I've never known teriyaki to have this kind of heat. The vegetables were crunchy and not seasoned. For $22 it just didn't feel that she got what she ordered. She still ate what she could as the chicken had good flavor, just to much heat. Then for dessert we split a slice of Pina colada cheesecake and it was delicious! Overall the experience was a good one. The server was great. She was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance of the place was very nice. It felt like this was probably the nicest place in town. I'm glad we tried this place while we were in town but I think maybe if the teriyaki is that spicy they should put that on the menu for the folks that don't want spicy. "Clean. One of the only places around far as I can tell! Smells good. Good business traffic in and out. Friendly. Just waiting to see how it tastes UPDATE: fish and hush puppies was delicious. Steak fingers was delicious. Gravy was very good and all was nice and hot. Generous portions. The cole slaw was a bit warm and too much mayo , not enough pickle juice (or vinegar) for my taste. So it was a bit heavy. But maybe that's how it's liked in this area. Salad was warm mostly leafy greens. But it was fresh enough. I'd come back."
