"The venue is reservations only, but booking was easy through their website. Upon arrival the restaurant was not particularly busy. The hostess was friendly. She took our reservation info and gave us seating options. The venue is aesthetically pleasing and full of interesting decor. Note: They do not offer adult beverages if you were interested in this detail, dear reader. They brought out warm tortillas with an assortment of butters with added seasoning, such as miso. I don't recall the other options. It was a simple, but memorable starter. We also ordered the aguachile which was prepared with shrimp and salsa that was poured at the table. It was served with tostadas. The aguachile was delicious and spicy. The tostadas were nice and crispy, but they were really drenched in salt and that made them difficult for me.I ordered the bibimbap with chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Bourdain ramen. The bibimbap was enormous. I want a fan of the banchan served on the plate. It just felt like there was way too much stuff and way too many flavors going on. Some were good, some I didn't like. The chicken was cooked well and sorry crispy, that I liked. I think I had pickled radishes, maybe.... Those I didn't like. It was just hard to decipher what was on the plate. The ramen looked good, but there were similar problems. Too many extras in the bowl and the temperature was lukewarm, just not hot enough. It was an absolutely lovely experience and the customer service was excellent. I'd love to come back to try the bao and tacos!"
