"We had a delightful and satisfying lunch at this place, so we decided to return for dinner. Here's what we experienced: The ambiance had a distinct steakhouse feel with soft, pleasant candlelight. The service was impeccable and the staff incredibly friendly. They boasted an impressive selection of wines, and the knowledgeable attendant was ready to offer recommendations and assistance. Now, let's discuss the meal itself. If you happen to be staying in Oludeniz or Fethye, I highly recommend paying a visit to this establishment. We had the opportunity to chat with the owner, and it was a heartwarming and passionate conversation about meat and the restaurant. The variety of meat options available was outstanding, with cuts that were properly aged for 40 days. Each cut was thick and flavorful, as it should be. They even allow you to choose your own steak at the meat counter, with guidance from the butcher. Personally, I opted for a bone-in ribeye weighing 900 grams, while my girlfriend selected a 600-gram T-bone. Being a meat lover, I can attest that when it's aged and cooked to perfection, I truly adore it. The meat was cooked to our specifications, and it was a delight to find the fat melting in our mouths, just as we had hoped. The steaks had a remarkable char, imparting a subtle smoky and charcoal-like aftertaste, reminiscent of Argentine grill style. As accompaniments, we had mashed potatoes and gravy, which were nothing short of extraordinary—smooth, creamy, and a true delight. Additionally, we enjoyed some vegetables and a fresh and crispy avocado salad as a starter. I can confidently say that the quality of the meat, the attentive service, and the overall experience were outstanding. In terms of pricing, I believe it was fair and reasonable for the exceptional meal we had, taking into account my travels around the world and the fact that the location attracts many British travelers. It's undoubtedly a wonderful dining experience. If you find yourself in the area, I urge you to pay a visit and thank me later. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, do try the peppercorn sauce with your steak—it's fantastic."

"Very disappointing My partner booked this restaurant for my birthday meal due to the good reviews. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience. On arrival we loved the vibe of the restaurant, it has a very boutique feel to it, our waiter was friendly but this soon went down hill, he put our bottle of wine on a different table and so my partner had to get up and down to top our drinks up as he never came back only to take our food order. We ordered the lamb shank and chicken with sauteed potatoes. The lamb was very dry and the gravy just tasted like pure pepper, my partners chicken came with chips and was given no explanation to this. We asked the waiter to ask the owen to come over to speak to us regarding our food and the service, which she did. She proceeded to say she would go try the sauce for the lamb, she returned from the kitchen but not to our table until a further 20 mins by this time we was highly disappointed has she was just going round the other tables smiling and making small talk.. surely she should of dealt with our complaint has we was clearly very disappointed by the service and food. When she eventually returned to our table she confirmed the chief had put too much red pepper in the suce, she just said sorry and said she would take this off our bill, which is fine but I feel people are not getting a true feel for this restaurant, other restaurants in the area have far better food and customer service skills but places like this get away with appalling service l, I would defintley not recommend this place Service: 1 Location: 2"

"Let me preface this by saying that I 'm american and have had some of the best steaks that you can imagine, both in the US and abroad. My gf and I were looking for something different while on a mini vacation in Cesme, so we drove to Alacati after reading the rave reviews of this place online. I don 't know if these other people simply have no idea about good steak, or if we just caught this place on an off night. We excitedly ordered the Dallas steak and had some salad while waiting for it to be expertly grilled . The salad was decent enough with a simple vinaigrette dressing. The waitress rushed us to finish the salad towards the end as the steak was apparently ready. Okay, I get it steak trumps salad. No biggie. However, one bite into the steak and we both looked at each other like did we really just spend 80 lira each on this? It wasn 't tender. There was fatty grizzle everywhere. It didn 't even taste good, which isn 't nice when you spend two minutes trying to chew each bite. Needless to say, we signaled the waiter, told him that we would be eating that chunk of meat for the next 5 hours at that pace, and he somewhat hesitantly, but graciously offered to get us something else. Okay, good. That 's what I would expect in other civilized places as well. However, our next selection (ribeye wasn 't much better. It came, and it looked nice but despite being a little more tender (however still not as you would expect! than the previous selection, had zero taste and was more like Okay, lets just get through this meal and go somewhere else and chalk this up to a big miss . So there ya have it folks....a real HONEST opinion from not one, but TWO people who have had MANY good steaks in other parts of the world. In fact, the worst steak that I 've had in the US was still far better than what we experienced at Iris. And contrary to other reviews that raved about how friendly the owners are, they never came out to talk to us or anyone else while we were there. We only saw them while leaving, as they were sitting at a table by the exit and waved goodbye to us. Sorry Turkey, we 've still yet to experience one good steak after 6 years of trying."
