"Great atmosphere. Super friendly. We had an Unfortunate experience with Spirit Airlines and we had a big layover here for 24 hours in New Orleans we came to this restaurant and they were super helpful with finding stuff for us to do. Manager came to make sure we were OK. Madeline checked on us. Our server Kayla gave us a free dessert and was so kind. They let us hang out for awhile! Hospitality was second to none."

Food was delicious. They are famous for their wood fired artichokes, amazing. We also had the tuna on Bibb lettuce, fried oysters over coleslaw and a Cuban sandwich. For a 3PM on a Friday afternoon getting service was slow.

Came here with the whole family.. husband, daughter, grand kids. Everyone enjoyed their experience. I personally ordered the salmon burger. I've never tried this item before. It was good and it was huge. I had to take half home n eat it for dinner.

First time there and the food was amazing.We weren't aware of the reservations but the hostess was very welcoming and was very patient with us. We were able to find seating at the bar and they definitely took care of us, we will definitely be returning.

"This is a large small place and I liked that the gluten-free options had. But if you are sensitive or celiac, I do not recommend it because there was a spaghetti noodle in my gluten-free pasta and they were quite Lassiez faire about it. I don't eat gluten because it's a migraine trigger. I'm glad it didn't trigger me, but I wouldn't recommend it. But try amazingly!"

"I ordered the General Tso's Chicken at D16, and I was disappointed to find that it mostly consisted of breaded flour with very little actual chicken. The flavor of the sauce was enjoyable, but I wouldn't order it again."

"Recently my parents brought me out for dinner. I'm Italian and I love Italian food. A few years ago, I decided to have a whole food-based, vegan lifestyle for several reasons. As a result, eating can be quite difficult often. I wrote all the ingredients I saw on the menu that I could eat, gave it to the cook and told him that he was as creative as he wanted only the listed ingredients. I think I had the best meal at the restaurant this night! And it was hands down one of the most delicious Italian meals I ever had! It meant so much that cook had a meal from the menu that I could eat. There is no doubt that customer satisfaction is the top priority of this cook! If you love Italian food and you are a vegan... definitely visit The happy Italian! They made this vegan Italian happy!"

"I ate in Rivershack several times and was not disappointed. It is a funky vibe with a very unique character. Yesterday we got the garbage fries. They were delicious. Many toppings, especially some delicious roast beef. I have burgers and other sandwiches. The serving size is quite large. When in the season, the boiled crust fish is really seasoned. Service can be a little slow, but probably because they are often so busy. Give them a try!"

"The beef and pork enchiladas were excellent! This was my first time here, but it will definitely not be the last. Husband had the burger and fries and was very satisfied. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was a pleasure. Get in and out for lunch, too. Thank you."
