"I was all ready to give Bruno's three stars because, really, it deserves three stars. But I just gave three stars to a place in my hometown (Whittier that also deserves three stars, and Bruno's is better than that place. By far--er, star. Great pizza and atomosphere in South Bend...Love the pizza ovens right at the front door! The Prairie Street (original) location is the best.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner planned here for 6+ months. When we got there that night, we were told we had to split the room my mother-in-law spent a lot of time decorating. The service was HORRIBLE. We had one server and she did great, but for 50 people one server isn't going to do it. She was very overwhelmed and we felt awful for her. We waited hours for drinks and food. I told the kitchen to add whatever the quickest appetizer was on to our bill for 10 orders and it came out 45 minutes later. We had to pay for cases of beer because we needed something quick and they ran out of cups. It was absolutely awful. I will never recommend it to anyone. It would've helped to have a manager...

There is no beating this pizza in the South Bend area end of story. We have tried so many places and tried to figure out what makes it for us I think it is the sauce and the cheese they use. Our fav is always the pepperoni and mushroom thin crust but if you like crust, just get their original and you won't be disappointed. It is thick though I prefer the thin just to get more of the topping taste than crust. We have tried 4 of their locations and all of them are wonderful. We were thrilled when they opened one just down the street from us in Osceola now our favorite is a mere 5 minutes away! "Dinner was not really okay. The appetizer was not fresh at all and where we sat it was not the first seat but it was very drafty. I did not eat all my meal and we brought it home and when I went to have it I found that I did not have as much meat and food there as I thought because they had filled it in underneath with meat, you could see there was rice there beside it and it had so much soy sauce and I could not eat it. It was soy sauce or something that tasted very similar to soy sauce. I would really like to see supper's come with something similar to lunches where you can get soup and egg rolls and whatever else comes with it. I guess family dinner on the side there for like 6.25 is supposed to be that but it would sure be nice if it was included with it. The waitress seemed pretty new and we had to request things a couple different times even though she was quite pleasant she was seemingly very nervous."

"Interesting concept the menu is half Mexican food and half Thai food. Options include nearly everything in that there are chicken, steak, fish, and ground beef and several dishes give you the option of which you want. There's even vegetarian. Service was friendly and our party of 4 had several questions and were all answered helpfully. Reasonably priced."

"We had never been to the LaSalle Grill but visited after a college trip to Notre Dame. What a great experience. The staff were uniformly warm and attentive and our server Mitchell talked to our son about all of the great things going on in South Bend. The bartender makes a fantastic old fashioned and we all loved our filet. They were unfortunately out of the elk dish so we definitely have to try that next time. Whether you are local or just visiting like we were South Bend is definitely a better dining scene because of LaSalle Grill."

"We have never been disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The pastor tacos were delicious and juicy, served with extra limes as requested. The kids' grilled cheese and cheese quesadilla were perfectly cooked and very cheesy. All the dishes were hot and fresh."

"the waiter had no personality. told us the specials and then he said better go check if something changed. in serious, our reservation was at 5:15 o'clock we were the only table in the room to the time with guests. he never asked one of the ladies at the table whether we care about another glass wein, but he asked the men. Just crazy! never was offered after dinner coffee, even tho that he offered dessert. my man steak was involved in a “interference on the stairs” (that, as it was told us) and unfortunately he had to wait and observe while the rest of the ate and they made him another ribeye. they took his meal out of the bill that was fair for her, we did not ask, and that was very good by the manager. it was less than par and we were a bit disappointed, as we had a hospitable with us who had never been there."
