"We were in the main square of Königstein im Taunus waiting to catch the bus, when we realized that, on the opposite side, there was an Afghan restaurant. Intrigued by a cuisine we did not know, we therefore decided to have lunch at the Burg restaurant. Decorated with carpets, antique carved wooden columns and various Afghan objects the interior is elegant and welcoming. After hours I had my lunch after a court ordered was sold out and I was supposed to be reached by phone only minutes after ordering. Alternatiw was offered me a cheaper court on the phone without refund.

Absolutely a great place to eat. Food is sumptuous, tastes great and the service (owner) is such a joy to converse with. He played the guitar for my son and myself for about 20 mins. Sehr empfehlenswert!!! Super Restaurant, das essen ist super vorbereitet und sehr, sehr lecker. Ausserdem ist das Service wirklich sehr gut.

We always saw this restaurant and decided to get something different. We came with a group 4 adults and 3 kids. The restaurant was very small and a bit tight. The server was friendly and took our order quick, but the food took a while to come. When the food did come out, it turned out amazing. All the items were freshly made and full of flavor. I will say that the restaurant is not kid friendly as they have no high chairs. I would come back but not with little kids.
