We were seated by the windows where flies congregated (only 2 people in indoor dining) and were constantly bating them away from our food and drinks. Waitress would give silverware hitting our glasses. Just sloppy service for the location of restaurant and price you pay. On a cold fall day, you won’t find a better French onion soup. The decor, service and other food are exemplary as well. Cost of food is reasonable and very worth it. Would make reservations if coming with a large group. Came for one at a reasonable hour and was seated right away.

Delicious meal in a quaint space and solid service. Started the meal with a Caesar salad, including actual anchovies. The assertive flavor was a unique experience. Delicious classic baguette served with room temperature butter. For the entree, braised pork cheeks with sweet potato purée. Delicious plate of food. Finished things off with a pear almond cake. I recommend anyone check out this PV institution.
