We were seated by the windows where flies congregated (only 2 people in indoor dining) and were constantly bating them away from our food and drinks. On a cold fall day, you won’t find a better French onion soup. The decor, service and other food are exemplary as well. Cost of food is reasonable and very worth it. Would make reservations if coming with a large group. Came for one at a reasonable hour and was seated right away.

Delicious meal in a quaint space and solid service. Started the meal with a Caesar salad, including actual anchovies. The assertive flavor was a unique experience. Delicious classic baguette served with room temperature butter. For the entree, braised pork cheeks with sweet potato purée. Delicious plate of food. Finished things off with a pear almond cake. I recommend anyone check out this PV institution.
