"We spent a few hours paddling around the area and stopped here for some beverages. The location is great, there is a big front lawn with plenty of tables and sun shades and you can enjoy the view of the paddlers and boat tours going by. It took close to 10 minutes to place our drink order and which time we said we may also have a dessert but we would think about it. She never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or the dessert at this point a good 20 minutes after we were finished our 1st drink. It was near impossible to get her attention. We stopped in this cafe/restaurant after whole day biking around Luebbenau. We sat at the front table and watched passing boats for hours. The beers are magnificent to the point that my husband said that next time (and there will be next time for sure) we will sit there whole day and do beer detox all day long. The food was also not bad for german standards. Regular fare with fried fish, potatoes and lots of pretty decoration. Make sure you have enough cash because you may have to bike 20 min to the nearest ATM just to find out that it takes only MasterCard. Cafe Venedig we will see you next August keep that table by the water available for us please!!!!!
