"Tolles Restaurant im Wild-West-Saloon-Stil mit passender Musik dazu. Getränke werden per Eisenbahn geordert und geliefert, was einen gewissen Spaßfaktor zum Essen mit sich bringt. Das Essen ist hervorragend zubereitet, sehr ansprechend präsentiert und geschmacklich sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Portionsgrößen sind so gewählt, dass man diese auch problemlos schaffen kann und auch noch etwas Platz für eine kleine Vorspeise oder Nachspeise hat. Die Wartezeit bis zum Essen wurde mit einem Gruß aus der Küche überbrückt (so weit ich das beurteilen konnte Maisbrot mit würziger Süß-Sauer-Sauce). Außerdem gibt es zu vielen Gerichten auch noch einen frischen Beilagensalat, der ebenfalls sehr hervorragend aufeinander abgestimmt ist und geschmacklich überzeugt. Preislich liegt man bei einem Hauptgericht inklusive zwei einfachen Getränken bei rund 30-35€ pro Person. Ich kann das Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen und werde es wieder besuchen. Wichtiger Hinweis noch zur Bezahlung! Während meines Besuches war nur Barzahlung möglich worauf im Vorfeld ausdrücklich hingewiesen wurde. Daher empfehle ich ausreichend Bargeld mitzunehmen, falls man sich das ein oder andere zusätzliche Getränk mehr bestellen möchte."

"after a long day of kajaks through the spreewald, decided to dinner in the flagship. it was a nice sunny day and it was quite busy, but nevertheless managed to get a nice river table with a perfect view of the Kahn boats. prime location. the food was good. as a relatiw new after Germany, I asked the waiter on a recommendation on something typical and he beat the hearty smoked swarm with fresh original spreewald sour kraut and hearty gravy, with thymian roasted kartoffels. eating was good, service a little slow."

"Hunger drove us to the orangery in the Lübbenau Castle Park. Amazingly, there is no contribution to the castle in Lübbenau, although there is much to write in the history of the house alone. Since 1621 owned by Counts to Lynar, interrupted by about 40 years of the GDR. But that's not my subject. The orangery, wonderfully situated on the beach of the Spree, was in the early evening, only moderately occupied. Outside the weather and mosquitoes could not sit. The very large interior was decorated in detail on the occasion of the World Cup with football matches. The high space allows 5m and more large German flags. Well, who likes that. There was no return for us, we had long been looking for a hospitable place. Our way of Hoyerswerda, in the Saxon direction at home, presented us on Saturday only closed companies, i.e. weddings in almost all types of catering facilities. The map of orangery promised what we had dreamed, defensive, strong, grounded food. The orangery is obviously the bourgeois cheaper possibility of the house to relieve the castle restaurant from too many simple people. Nothing to say. The young staff acts in the fussballerian environment, including large screen with transmission of a World Cup game, quite good to careless. The longer waiting period for food made the best suspect. It wasn't like that. All 5 dishes were not good by hand, the 3(!) Kitchen didn't do anything tonight, but nothing really done well. It was about farm breakfast, desalinated and dry, over pork comb steak with prawn onions, also dry and hard, the roast potatoes on it, salted and soft. The zander fillet was also salted. Too bad, but this hunger... Hoping that there was one, perhaps football-related, slippers, there are 3 points for the loving ball atmosphere."

"We spent a few hours paddling around the area and stopped here for some beverages. The location is great, there is a big front lawn with plenty of tables and sun shades and you can enjoy the view of the paddlers and boat tours going by. It took close to 10 minutes to place our drink order and which time we said we may also have a dessert but we would think about it. She never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or the dessert at this point a good 20 minutes after we were finished our 1st drink. It was near impossible to get her attention. And it was not busy! I can 't comment on the food as we never ordered anything, sadly. There are plenty of other options along the canals, we will try another one next time."
