"I like food. Eating is what we do. We eat so well that we rarely go to eat as we can do everything better than any restaurant we go to. Except this one. This is really the most beautiful place to eat. The food is amazing (I would honestly say with taste and presentation alone, I would pay literally three times their asking price. and extreme FRESH. You can taste the clean, crispy, delicious foods that were not frozen. The service is stellar. Everyone is extremely personal and the owner is one of these people who lives to make people happy. He is humble, he is kind, he aims to see the community as his family and treats it as such. You can't ask for a better place. Especially during the happy hour."

"Nicer than expected. Rustic well decorated with a lot of character. We were greeted at the door and the waitress seemed very experienced. She was very friendly and attentive, although they were pretty busy. I had the chicken roasted steak it was very good, properly cooked, on the inside tender and crispy on the outside and fair size. The severity was good too. The baked potato had crispy bacon slices, butter, sour cream and chives. The salad was fresh and crisp with the dressage served on the side. Connie had the barbeque baked potato. She said it was very good. The tea was very sweet, but delicious. Parking was on the back of the building and the entrance was nearer to the parking lot on the east side. The front doors were not functional. The bar was nice and seemed to have several drinks specialties. There was a beer garden outside. It was shaded with several tables and a small stage."

"How have you been in Dennison since 2010 and I’m just finding out about your place? This is the type of place I love to frequent. Small, quaint, family-friendly, great customer service. The food is amazing and all made from scratch, not brought in by Sysco (which is a bonus) and the coffee drinks are excellent."

"Okay, I've often eaten at Chicken Express. Its quality at a fair price always decent. But recently I discovered that the Denison Wels site was used. And really good cats. Clean, large, golden brown fillets cooked to order. Well worth the ride from Sherman and waiting for fresh fish."
