"We dined for the first time last night (Valentines Day and we were BEYOND impressed. We started with the lamb and chicken homemade empanadas. Light, delicate, flavorful and delicious! Also the provalato (sp? was excellent. My better half had the rack of lamb and I had the filet. My steak was cooked to perfection (mid-rare and her lamb was simply seasoned with rosemary, salt and pepper. Simple food is always the best and Del Sur gets it! The final vote came from our 8 year old who had the chicken Marsala. He RAVED about it. We loved the intimate atmosphere with the open kitchen concept and the entire staff was warm and knowledgeable. I love everything about this place. The menu, the nice staff, the wine card, the great music... But if nothing else order the dulce de leche crepes. It is a show at the table and one of the best desserts on the island.

My husband and I love Del Sur. They have an original menu that's unlike anything else on SSI. We love their wine menu, their empanadas, the salmon, tuna, flank steak, and pork chop. Also, they have espressos which are hard to come by on this southern island. Del Sur never disappoints, give it a try!

I ate here yesterday with two friends... we ordered Caprese Salat, grilled chicken sandwiches and Empanadas to go. The food and service was incredible and the owner made a table visit. I've eaten here in the past and it was the best steak we had eaten for a long time! Very recommended! We will return soon!
