"Loved it. I ordered the Optimus Prime Sandwich and it was delicious. The bread was very high quality and the meat was tender and very flavorful. The gentleman behind the counter was really helpful in helping me to decide what to choose. He was patient and didn't look annoyed. He even gave me a free soda since it was my first time eating there! The decor is cool and eclectic it looks somewhat like a 50's diner. It was super clean...you could tell these people really care about the impression their restaurant gives to customers. I also had the poblano potato salad which was just okay (it could've used a little more salt and just more flavor...poblano added just a hint of kick but overall, it lacked flavor). The sandwich more than made up for it! I definitely see why the reviews are so complimentary and why it's so highly rated. I definitely recommend this gem of a restaurant!"

"So last night we ordered a haddock dinner, shrimp dinner, clam strip dinner, and a order of fried mushrooms. The only thing done right was the shrimp dinner. The fish was dry and overcooked. The clam strips were way over cooked, tough and rubbery, and you could literally taste the oil in the batter. They tasted about 6 hours old. To top it off they substituted my mushrooms with fried cauliflower, as if I wouldn't notice. Complete waste of $50. I'm originally from New England so I know good seafood and this was by far the worst seafood I've ever had. It won't happen again!"

"PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TABS!Stopped in for appetizers and drinks for lunch last week. Everything was okay.What is not okay is the included gratuity on the tab. We were a party of two on a weekday afternoon, why is there included gratuity? Two appetizers and 3 drinks for $70 with your included gratuity and you want more...why?I'm guessing it's more of an issue with staff being underpaid but quite frankly that isn't my problem. I won't be patronizing any restaurant that feels two tips is a necessary means to an end. It's middle-of-the-road Mexican--not fine dining. Charge more for the food if you have to, but do not put it on your customers to ensure your staff can survive."

"Four of us good buddies did a winter Men's Retreat' in Syracuse's Armory Square to spend some time together and enjoy some bars and restaurants. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott and did a bit of a pub crawl over a couple of days. Kitty Hoyne's is literally a crosswalk away from the hotel, so we stopped in here twice... once for evening drinks and once for lunch. We stopped in on a Wednesday night for drinks and the bar wasn't too full. We were able to get seats at the bar and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. We had a good time but did find that the overall pub area is pretty loud. Also, the beer list was pretty good but not a lot of Irish' beers (just the usually Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks)... they had other beer on draft so there was something for everyone. We tried the famous' corned beef fritters.... perfectly cooked and filled with corned beef and Russian dressing. They were tasty but very rich, so one or two go a long way. We came back the next day for lunch and were seated in a quiet section of the dining area. Service was attentive and the food good. I had some sort of in-house smoked corned beef with cheese on a multi grain bread with fries... excellent. The pub is friendly, roomy, and has excellent service... highly recommended!"

"I don't understand the hype!?! Our family had four different types of sandwiches and most of them went in the trash. My Brooklyn sandwich was so wet my bread disintegrated and the meats were tasteless. My sons meatball sub was also unedible as the meatballs were hard. My wife's bread was also soggy and eating it was a big mess. No thank you to a wet and moist sandwiches!"
