"Meh. I've driven by this place hundreds of times and have never stopped to even get ice cream. Tonight I decided to try a few food items and a strawberry shortcake. I got a grilled chicken sandwich, mozzarella sticks, and fried pickles. The fried pickles were done. They were still doughy and squishy in the middle, and they were so greasy that they upset my stomach. The mozzarella sticks were just gross. Heinz marinara sauce is gross. I'm assuming they're just getting kind of bulk run of the mill GFS frozen items and popping them in there fryer. This place is great!! Good service, and good ice cream. They also have a drive thru that is nice and convenient.

Date of visit 5/28/23, took my wife for her birthday. She asked what a Brownie Buckeyes Artic Swirl was. The girl the register said it's like a Blizzard. My wife, said yes, but what is in it. Does it have Buckeye candies or just some peanut butter and chocolate. The lady said candy pieces. My wife asked if they were made there or just store bought. The girl huffed and said store bought. My wife ordered the Brownie Buckeyes Artic Swirl, hold the Buckeyes. She got it, it had the Buckeye candies in it that weren't good. She returned it to the window. "my friend and I like to eat. he's a cook, and I'm a total cook. we have agreed el mason for a date in the other night. he was completely satisfied with his tortilla soup (very cooler servier style with the meat and suppe separated and they pour it over them) and he also got the grilled new York steak and began with the classics from Spain. (he was very satisfied with his meal his food seemed as if they had taken time to plan the aromen, I had been the meson favorites sampler and I am very dissatisfied with the 1st amount of food for $19 it is not worth 2. I would have paid $19 for a mini-plate if it were good, but everything left me hanging. the stew was compromised by watery veggies like squash. I am the kind of person who likes veggies like these to be left a bit gross. there are many other sweets to put in a one-pot that are a great type of mushy, but squash is not one of them. the plantains in the sampler were okay, but nothing to them again. the thing that gets me more is that they talk in the menu about how the family el meson goes and travel to discover more Latin American dishes and bring variety into the menu, but as the other commentator said, nothing has changed in 20 years. that tells me that they're enslaving in their menu. that doesn't make me sense. if they are gong to claim that they do it. If they want to highlight the same dishes for 20 years, then their claim to rest would be to fame their loyality. lower line: this is a great restaurant for non-vegans or someone who only has a liquid food (the mojito is good), not good for vegans. the pricing is absolutely ridiculous for the kind of vegan food she presents. updated by previous review on Wednesday, 27 august 2014"

"I've delivered food from CJ Chan Chinese and Japanese cuisine restaurant, so today I thought I would try one of their meals. I started with something simple, General Tso chicken and this cool can of herbal tea. I love the packaging! The chicken was fresh and tasty and the herbal tea had a great taste as well! Customer service was excellent! I'll definitely be back!"

"Shrimp special was a good eat. Ordered a medium new York strip. Steak was not edible, by any means. Won't be going back, and I really suggest cooking at home anymore. I cook at home better than this place."

"The service was actually laughable. I really did enjoy my time when I was there the first time (with someone who was not the owner bartending). I'm all for supporting local business but this is worse than a kids lemonade stand when it comes to communicating. I sat there for ten minutes with my friend, then someone came by said hi and stared at us? Apparently it was the owner and she acted like we were stupid for waiting. Honestly as a customer I felt like I was a burden rather than a person who was being cared for. I wasn't initially going to post my experience because maybe I'm the outlier of bad experience, but after a couple of trips I've found out that's not the case. They don't do mixed drinks as well, kitchen is hit or miss in terms of operation. When the kitchen is running the food tastes fine when you're drunk.Plenty of other places to drink so it's hard for me to honestly recommend this place given service and products provided, hence the poor review."
