"Taco Tuesday didn 't quite get it. Let me explain. After being seated for 2, we noticed that diners were gathering around separate buffet stations placing food onto their plates taco Tuesday . Personally I don 't like flour taco shell , I need to crunch. Now I get it! Don 't order from the menu but just get the items from the buffet stations. Wow! I will be back for TACO TUESDAY. Back to my Tuesday menu selection ordered unsweetened Tea, tortilla soup, chicken salad which was delicious with green goddess dressing. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly I did asked if the refried beans were prepared with 'lard ' she said yes. Then asked if they had black beans without lard. Yes they did...

Manuel was amazing serving my husband and I during our dinner . The fajitas were amazing and margaritas top notch but best of all was the service!! Manuel thank you for the amazing help and wonderful conversation will be back!

Service was fantastic, however the steak in the carne asada burrito was too rubbery to eat. Notified our server and he was very apologetic. He offered a replacement entree but we declined. Ultimately, he was able to remove the meal from our check, which was the right thing to do since it was generally inedible. Otherwise, the experience was good. One not-so-great meal will not keep us from returning to this location, been coming for years and this really was a first.

"Gaetano's is the best Italian restaurant in the South Bay. The food is always excellent. The specials are interesting and delicious. "Went to the store to purchase fresh coffee beans. Most of the stock was from two or three weeks ago. They do get a fresh shipment every Wednesday, but the barista would not make the effort to locate the new produce. They preferred to refund me my money instead of opening up a fresh bag since it would ruin the experience for other customers. Said I should coordinate with the manager so I can get fresh coffee. Alfred Peet's would be very disappointed with this response, the refund and a customer having to leave without the fresh coffee they are suppose to be selling. Barista needs to be trained to help customers find the freshes coffee and have the best experience. Manager needs to learn how to order and reduce the coffee stock. The over ordering has coffee that is three weeks old on the floor."

"Longtime customer. I used to love their Teri deluxe combo with the salad, but I found a fly in the salad. Low and behold another person had the same problem 7 months ago. It took two phone calls and coming back in to the store to get a full refund. No I don’t want a voucher for a free chicken salad that I just found a fly in but a full refund. Horrible customer service. The kids at the front are always nice and friendly but management get your act together"

"I knew this place was gonna be good from the outside when I saw their sign, and large parking. Further confirmation was a fairly large waiting area old school pad to write your name down during extended wait times I can tell this place pops on the weekend gets crowded. To Experience the BOOM in ya mouth???you must come to this lovely spot in Lomita. Hot 'N Tot is magically delicious ? ? there is a reason they have been here since 1946 pure bliss! ?? On this visit I had Chilaquiles w/ chile verde, two eggs, with rice beans. This plate was so good I killed the entire plate in like 15 minutes, pure fire ??‍?it was the bomb ? yes I said tge bomb in 2024? it was that good! Wifey went with one of their omelettes she substituted wirh a bananba pancake. The omelette was great but the highlight of her dish was the bandana pancake. Our waitress (Wendy really cool vibes service) brought out this magical pecan syrup, oh my...it was so tasty my wife immediately ask for a to go box, packed up half of her omelette to ensure she had room in her tummy to finish her pancake with that tasty magical ? syrup so good!!! This is a classic diner with great vibes. In this 2024 world of quick casual; it is nice to find this gem offering great tasting dood with fresh ingredients, classic atmosphere, and stellar service ,? they even use old school tickets for your bill, hand writen too...I love everything about this place I 'll definitely be back they just gained 3 new customers for life! I will be coming here as a senior citizen lord willing ? They are open for breakfast lunch only so do not make dinner plans? Frankly, I see why, they have mastered their dishes and you can taste the quality. I observed very closely, these are hard working staff who are dedicated, every dish coming out to everyone 's table looked delicious??? go as soon as you can there is nothing else to say, toodles ? Parking: A very large lot, I can tell they are packed on the weekends. Kid friendliness: Yup, classic diner, plenty of space kid options.
