"For many decades, I used to eat at the Restaurant Frohsinn in Opfikon some 4 miles from Zurich Airport, with airline and tour operator friends. I knew that this restaurant also had a few rustic rooms but no airport bus shuttle service. On May 20, 2019, I had difficulties finding accommodations near Zurich Airport. I called the restaurant,, and I was told that the owners, the Grimm Family had decided a couple of years ago to turn the former farm ranch building (the Kuhstall) into a 4-star hotel with 30 rooms and that city bus #759 with ample baggage space now stops right next to the hotel and restaurant. Delicious Röstis that are very hearty. Definitely no one goes home hungry. Nice ambience. Reservation strongly recommended.

Great as always. Everything is true, absolutely EVERYTHING. I don't know the hotel, but I think that's great too. Nice garden restaurant. Waiting for the garden season Pass by yourself. Very important: RESERVE!!!!!
