"Eating lobster in Kitzbuhel is counter-intuitive and this place confirms it. Apart from serving different types of lobster, it also serves Argentinean steak in a hot stone , some shrimps (imitation of the Spanish gambas al ajillo and that 's pretty much it. It also serves appetizers...and salads -we went for the scallops and the double -salmon and tartare. The four scallops of the appetizer are small (in the US they are called bay scallops , flavorless, and they come with slices of a cheddar-looking cheese, croutons, everything on top of a salad full of dressing. This combination resulted in a bad dish in desperate need of re-thinking. The Double was quite decent, with the exception that the tartare had no toast. The dish came with butter though, which was then probably meant to be eaten directly with the tartare without toast, or with the heavy bread below the salmon. Fine, whatever. The tartare was good and the Salmon OK. I must pause on our food here and focus on our neighbors ' food, unfortunately. They ordered the Argentinean steak . We noticed it because the smoke of the skillet (skillet, not hot stone btw, in spite of the menu saying hot stone came straight to our table, since the tables upstairs are very close to each other. As a side note, Argentineans do NOT grill their steak this way -it would be outrageous. The way this restaurant serves what they call Argentinean steak seems to be close to the way the Japanese grill their Wagyu -which is grilled on a skillet because the large amount of fat permits it (and it tastes incredibly delicious . However, taking what would otherwise be an amazing Argentinean steak and slicing it in thin cuts -and then giving it to the customers for them to fry in a hot skillet (that gets cold with time, something we could tell by the diminution of smoke invading our table should be punishable, if not by jail, at least by bad reviews . The lobster came and, in this case, the flavor of the sauce (we ordered the Chardonnay was better than the ingredient itself. The lobster was reasonably sized, and for 70 Euros you can have a better one probable anywhere, with the possible exception of Kitzbuhel. By then, it was hard to smell the lobster -all we could smell was our neighbor 's food. So.... don 't go there. It 's bad, it 's overpriced and you leave smelling of poorly cooked steak, even if you ordered lobster."
