"Ryan’s on York is the real deal. Great food, an awesome selection of beers, and super service. While in Manitowoc for two days, I ate lunch there, twice, and dinner, once. The staff are all super friendly, and the food is VERY reasonably priced. Even with all the other restaurants and bars in Manitowoc, I could not bring myself to go anywhere else! It’s a place for real people, and attracts the friendliest locals. When in Rome, do as the Romans do! Just go! You will love it!"

"An annual event for me. In fact, in 2016 I wrote a song that became a music video: beer o 'Clock in Manitowoc . But this review is not about me. It's about the Courthouse Pub, my favorite restaurant in the area. I highly recommend it; great selection, good food and great service. I like the new menu and the new owners are good people. I hope this place has flourished for many years."

"I'm often here. Fresh air from traditional chain sandwich restaurants. This is a local family business and gives any other sandwich shop in the city. Today I ordered a pastrami and turkey sandwich along with 2 homemade cannolis. Delicious as always. The prices are also less than chain shops. If you haven't eaten here, I strongly recommend checking it."

"Go inside, don't judge it by the exterior, although it's ok, just pretty plain. Food is excellent, prices reasonable, service good, it's spotless, comfortable seating, staff is very friendly and customer oriented. There is counter seating if you like that option. Go inside and give the place a try. I had the hot beef dinner which was very good. A lot of times the meat in hot beef sandwiches is sketchy, but not in this case. At the time we were there, it was cash only. No cards or checks."
