"Honestly, this is the BEST ice cream place in the Northwoods! Their Chicago dogs and soft pretzels are delicious, too. The ice cream is super-premium, which is the highest grade there is. There are some truly unique flavors along with some rare classics. However, what's best about Mad Dog Jake's is the SERVICE! The employees seem to really care and even ask you about your adventures. They offer free samples and do whatever it takes to make sure the customer is happy. Even when there's a long line, everything is served with a smile. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!"

"Locally recommended when we were camping in Allequash, Outstanding Service as soon as we sat down, they came to us through their menu. Atmosphere is comforting, many fun characters and cool taxidermy. Now the food, I couldn't put in words how tasty her Gooch Burger was, I couldn't put it on except I stuffed Pommes in my mouth. If I ever go through Boulder Junction, that's my first stop."
