"Dinner salad was wilted and brown at the edges. The side of cole slaw that came with Shrimp Dinner was served in a tiny sauce container like the ones a restaurant uses when you order your mayonnaise on "the side".. ...that was a FIRST. Even the ranch dressing container was bigger. No words. The shrimp were tiny frozen popcorn shrimp not the butterfly shrimp size you"d expect for the price I paid I could go on about other things but these took the cake."

Ordered three Henrys Hand Cut Chicken Fried Steak plates with potatoes and fries. Steaks were salty, almost too salt to where we didnt eat them. The fries and potatoes were good.

"This place is PRECIOUS!!! We drove through the city, and we love eating small non-chain places. It is always a coin throwing what you get when it comes to visiting restaurant like this. But Henrys was amazing! Amazing food! The STAFF was even more important. We didn't get the name of our server, but every single person was AMAZING! The person who order our drinks brought our drinks, food order, refills, etc... so many different employees interacted with us and they were over friendly. We will find a reason to go through again in the future!"

"Given that this business has existed for almost 100 years, a feat is in and of itself. Now that Texas has a million great BBQ places, it is fair to understand why the original Black's Barbecue in Lockhart is known as one of the best. Immersed in the historic area of Lockhart, feel as if you already experience a piece of history as you are waiting in line outside this highly praised ice cream. We went to lunch on Saturday and the waiting period was not more than 15 minutes. And even this time seemed to pass when we admired all the photos of famous people who visited the walls in the hallway when we approached the naval line. The nap line starts with the secondary dishes that I can say are about a B/B rating, they have the standard green beans, dirty rice, pinto beans, Mac n cheese, Slav, potato salad, but what was hanging on me was their Jalapeno corbread. In my opinion, it was a B /A. The serving sizes and prices are very fair and they have some excellent options to choose from. I can't honestly say that any meat I tried was the best I had from all BBQ connections in Texas, but it was still very good. Regarding the atmosphere, this place is certainly an A. I feel like I went into a time capsule of 1932 and I felt that I earned my money from the visceral experience alone."

"Not that it was five stars, but can?t do halves. With that being said, pizza was really good. Ratios of crust, sauce, and toppings were spot on. Flavors were really good, and made you come back for more even though you?re already stuffed. Breadsticks were the downfall of my entire order. Little overcooked, and they weren?t quite the level the pizza was at. A little more fluffier dough and a little bigger in size would be nice as well for the breadsticks. Ranch was fresh and had what tasted like a little dill sour taste. I got it to go, so I can?t rate the location."

"Was told about this restaurant by a few friends. Glad we stopped. Food is delicious, I enjoyed the potatoes, really hard to find a place that seasons the potatoes, the barbacoa was tasty, the eggs were cooked perfectly to order,tortillas are great, the tea is good. The waitstaff are friendly. The place is small, we had to wait a bit (10 mins. . Bathrooms are clean. We will definitely be back to this place."
