"First off, aside from local residents, not many people actually have cause to visit Regensdorf. It's a nice little suburb of Zürich. Secondly, even people who are in Regensdorf would likely miss this restaraunt. It is located in a community center which usually does not...bode well in matters of cuisine. Once inside however, this inviting family run restaraunt is bustling with locals. The extensive menu offers specialities from India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China. Everything is freshly made and has a real home-cooked taste. Aside from peas, I doubt there is a frozen vegatable on the premises. Whether you're in the mood for a spicy dish or something more subtle, meat or vegetaria...

I would swear that I have reviewed this restaurant on TA in the past....but I've had a few other reviews I've done go missing, too. Anyway, any time I stay at the Moevenpick Regensdorf, I have dinner at Hot Wok. I found it by accident...the first time and I look forward to it when I come back. Friendly owner and good service. A nice mix of Thai, Chinese, Malaysian, Japanese, and Indian fare. I love their hot and sour soup and I always get the Duck Sizzler. I don't get enough duck in the US so I eat it as much as I can when in Germany or Switzerland. Tonights was the plumpest, meatiest duck breast I've ever had.
