"it is a very well-maintained restaurant with inflated bar and offers the customer both delicious food and a beautiful bar with many cocktails. "We were in Schwerin and saw the recommendations for this restaurant so we wanted to try. It was only possible to get a table Tuesday evening (we tried to get one Sunday or Monday, but fully booked so it is a popular place and...reservations seem to be a must! Central location. Nice ambience in the restaurant. Very nice staff as well. The food could be better, however. A little surprise to us after all the fine notes on Tripadvisor. A Bruschetta as starter was boring to say the least! Olive oil missing. The Fischsoljanka (soup) was sweet, and the small pieces of fish had the skin on (soft fish skin is really not delicate to our opinion). Maindish Fischplatte Lukas was with sorts of fish, good and with fine small potatoes but with vegetable asortment so soft that they were either over boiled (or I believe was from a frozen bag with mixed greens). Not so good! The fried Heerings were very good! Made first in vinegar and then fried on the pfanne. Tasty and nice. We had a fine Weissburgunder to join the meal. Price for was Eur All in all acceptable meal, but far from the many five stars recommendations which brought us there."

"the traditional restaurant is located directly at a tram stop, therefore easily accessible even without a car. we like to get in there spontaneously. the atmosphere is appealing and cozy. There is also a very nice outdoor area beer garden, where the stay is particularly pleasant with appropriate weather. the menu includes meat - and fish dishes, good bourgeois cuisine. eating is delicious, the personal friendly. what do you want? in the working day there is a low-priced daily offer (6,50) and, depending on the season, special offers (e.g. spanferkel satt, or half dee) the price - performance ratio is correct."

"5 stars should be for this restaurant only the beginning of all reviews. the gourmet factory has been convincing for years through a lovingly assembled kitchen, nice staff, very well maintained ambiente at the city port of Schwerin and a very friendly restaurant guide. the cooking school is personally guided by the chef - an absolute must for every chef! the tricks you learn there come directly from the professional kitchen everyday and are not in a cookbook. Stunning faces and a unique experience are therefore pre-programmed! we, my wife, family and I, are always liked guests and will gladly recommend the gourmet factory as a tribal for all eventualities! Five stars!"
