I certainly do not agree with the previous bad reviews. We went as a party of and had a fantastic evening. The staff were very attentive even though it almost fully booked on a Thursday evening. We had a table by the window as requested. The food and presentation were fabulous. As starters we had the Haloumi fries with mint-Joghurt dip and two different salads. As mains we had the filet Mignon with pepper sauce (cooked to perfection), with delicious side dishes of green beans, mixed grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes. Then three deserts, crème brûlée, American cheesecake and sorbet with champagne. A great red wine. So people do go there it is really worth while I can definitely recommen...

Das Restaurant hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente sowohl von innen als auch auf der Terrasse. Das Essen, vor allem das Fleisch, war sehr gut aber auch sehr teuer. Wir waren letzte Woche mit einer Gruppe von 15 Personen da. Die Bedienung hat unsere Bestellung zügig aufgenommen. Die Bestellung wurde auch schnell bearbeitet. Für uns negativ war die Buchung an sich. Es gab so gut wie keine Kommunikation vorab mit dem Restaurant. Mit einer Gruppe hat man allerdings das ein oder andere abzusprechen. Des Weiteren war es schwierig Getränke nachzubestellen. Es liefen zwar mehrere Kellner herum aber keiner hat sich wirklich für uns verantwortlich gefühlt. Wanted to try something new in the neighborhood a burger just sounded about right after the Christmas Holidays. The Lodge in Kronberg has put a food truck on the parking lot at Opel Zoo. I ordered 4 burgers, plus fries and coleslaw online. One can choose the pick up time on the website. There are no deliveries. Once my payment went through, the website gave me the information that my order wasn’t received personally and I would receive an email once it is ready for pick up. As this seemed peculiar to me, I phoned the restaurant.
