On March 19th, we tried the lobster bisque which was not hot enough and lacked sufficient lobster meat. However, the Madeline's Salad with grilled chicken was a generous portion, fresh, and well-seasoned. We appreciated the prompt service as we had a meeting to rush to. The waitress had a great attitude and attended to us efficiently. The warmth of the fireplace near our booth added a nice touch. I recently went to Madeline's for brunch and had a very unpleasant experience. My friends had organized a surprise baby shower for me, but we were extremely disappointed with the service we received. The food was average and the staff was rude and showed signs of racism. Despite seeing other large groups being well taken care of in the same area, our predominantly female minority group was ignored.
