"EXPENSIVE BUT DELICIOUS!!! I love her pasta and the Burrito was so good. When we called in our order, the lady told us she had a sum when we got there. So we were surprised when the sum for two came to almost $60. The food was amazing, but when you go for lunch, they give you the same for a reasonable price."

"Food (except for the ahi salad which is weird and I would not recommend- everything else I have had has always been good from the specials (fish to the chopped chicken salad (delicious! to the ceviche and nachos (haven’t tried the pasta and ambiance is always great! (View of the ocean from all tables ! the service is always hit or miss in terms of waitstaff friendliest (speed is usually consistent and this time the waiter just didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. And I always have a reservation but the table is never ready it’s usually a 10-20 minute wait with a resy but it’s too be expected (better than 45 min wait without a reservation . The value is great. Price for what you get (ocean view is great."

"Interesting place. I 've had two dinner experiences and they demonstrate how the right personal energy of a single employee can make or break a fine dining experience. Fine dining because the kitchen is amazing! No disappointment there. From appetizers to entrees to dessert, the food game is spot on. We 're talking innovation, creativity, and consistently well-prepped and delivered with an explanation good. I met two dudes running the bar. Dillon was the first and the experience he created was personable and positive. He wanted us to have not only a meal, but to indulge ourselves in the pleasures the environment he created and sustained through the stewardship of hood space. Unfortunately we went back a week later. As described above, the food and food service remained outstanding. We were pretty sure Dillon 's substitute did not want us there. When inquiring about specials he actually said, What you see is what you get. ! It 's all about creating an ambiance that supports the supreme culinary event. Friends, it was so bad that strangers were confiding in us that it was off putting. I 'll give Spoon another chance, but if Dillon isn 't there I 'll be walking back out and get something else."

"The service, the food, the dessert, and the overall experience was great! My Wife and I enjoyed everything about this place. The service was great, we were seated very quickly and our waiter was top notch. He explained everything in detail and made sure we were happy. The food was delicious. I ordered the sombrero burger and my wife ordered the Chile verde enchiladas. We also got the quesadilla which was good. The micheladas were good as well. And the fried ice cream was HUGE! It was the size of my fist! I would definitely recommend this place and will be back next time we visit Pismo!"
