"I was there at opening and was seated immediately. I went to sample legit southern cooking. No disappointments. I had an very filling lunch of baked chicken, collard greens, fried green tomatoes, and cucumbers. Added ice tea and banana pudding. For $12.50, it was a great value and I got the southern culture as a bonus...from the wait staff and the patrons. I am writing this review in a coffee shop of a major casino where I was just charged $7 for a glass of ice tea. Do you want good value in warm surroundings or lousy value in a corporate entertainment palace? Choose wisely!"

Very friendly staff from the gentleman in the kitchen to the ladies in the front of the house. The fried chicken and hamburger steak with gravy are amazing!! Thank you Martin's Restaurant for feeding the body AND soul!!

The food was awesome the service was awesome and the only thing I regret is that I got too full to the eat the pie! Got to go back just for dessert and coffee even though it’s an hour and 15 minute drive for us we will be going back soon!

Absolutely classic Southern cooking. Lunch (Dinner in the South) is an event. The staff is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is more akin to eating at someone's home or kitchen table. The fried chicken, peas, greens, and cornbread are good enough to make your tongue try to slap your teeth right out. Martin's is a monument to good food. If you eat there once, you will want to go back.
