"For a restaurant that specializes in cooking steaks, it was disappointing to see on all 3 steak entrees ordered that medium rare all came out medium. Still tasty, but off the mark. Considering the price and area of expertise, an unfortunate outcome. The tuna tartar was underwhelming as well. Very bland. Been coming to Mastro's for years and I wonder if there is new blood (pardon the pun) in the kitchen. My only advise is to ask for rare if you want medium rare, etc, etc."

Went for my 21st birthday. Staff was really amazing and made my day. Food was phenomenal. Only problem was how crowded it was. Tables were inches apart and couldn’t hear the people at my table.

the food quality is excellent. everything was cooked to perfection and they can taste the fresh ingredients of eating. we also had luck with a large server zeferino, who was nice and hospitable with us.
