"Have been there a few times only because other local place was closed food ok BUT Tonight…. Call an order in guy first not take my number. Said 25 minutes…arrive in 35 minutes. With 17 people ahead of me an nobody know what’s happening….one guy ordered at 530 I ordered at 605. And a walk up guy waited only 10 minutes for soup. The only Chinese place I have seen that disorganized and clueless. I walked out"

Everything was fresh and delicious and the portions are large. Very nice people. Try the Wonton with garlic sauce appetizer...you won't be disappointed! We will continue to order from here!

Food is GREAT but whoever takes your orders has a terrible attitude. I understand you're busy but you don't have to be rude to someone who needs you to repeat what you said because of too much background noise.

"My wife and I enjoyed our dinner last night. Driving down restaurants like Diners, we were literally looking to eat a place that looked good. With The Roost we decided to pull a U-turn and go back to dinner. Service was very good and our server helped me decide between a burrito and the burger, helped me choose a beer and patiently helped my wife decide about the quiche (woman likes this maid stuff). I had not expected the burger to be so good, My wife was enthusiastic about the fluffy quiche. I joked that she had ordered the cheesecake when the server put it down. If somewhere near the area... go for a meal and you will expect more good food and service than you."

"I recently read a review on here about someone mentioning the owner being unpleasant, but I was truly surprised by our experience. We had a reservation for 6:30 but had to change it to a later time due to friends running late. The owner was incredibly accommodating, even on a busy Saturday night. I was impressed to see the owner on site. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and our group is excited for another meal at Spy. They were able to fully accommodate my dietary restrictions, which is not always the case at busy restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Our experience rated a 5 for food, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the vegan Tofu Wings. The price per person was $50-100 for dinner."
