"The two of us had dinner just after opening so it was pretty quiet. We drove down from Raleigh to check out the restaurant. The atmosphere was great sitting in the sun room. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu with good suggestions. The food in general was good. The fried okra were prepared differently than I have ever had … and I’ve tried a lot of fried okra. The steak was very good and the chicken pasta dish was tasty. The cheesecake was excellent. Portions were plentiful with enough to take home. Prices were better than expected. If you’re in the area it’s worth a visit."
