"The other day I was looking for somewhere to take a dear, elderly friend for dinner. We were quite early for the dinner hour (4:30pm), I drove to the front door knowing they weren't open for dinner yet. When I entered I was met by Stephen (owner/chef) who was busy working a crew for an off-site catering. He was kind enough to stop what he was doing to speak with me and offered my friend (who doesn't walk well) a table at the front of the restaurant. The servers were setting tables and quickly set up our table as I helped my friend in. THANK YOU! We have lived in Tarboro for two years, so we are lucky to have this gem so close to home. The food is delicious featuring local in season dishes, an amazing wine list, and stellar service. If you don’t live in the neighborhood, it’s worth the drive.
