"we found eating very well. the position at the lake was beautiful. unfortunately the service would have been better. we were early (6 pm) with not so many tables full. it took the server well over 5 minutes to get to the table. we had to wait a little after we had finished our main course until the server could come and see about the desert. when it came time to pay the bill, it took a whole time after we made the credit card available for the server to return with the entry to the registration. even if the business started to pick up, it took too long to sign the receipt for us."

great ambiente and wonderful eating. the service was excellent. I would recommend on the verandah to everyone I know

We’ve been to On the Verandah many times. Food and service has always been excellent. This was our first Sunday brunch. Noise level was high due to an overly enthusiastic piano player. His was talented but choice of songs yielded a noise level which made conversation difficult where we were seated — which was inside and not on the porch. Service was a bit slower than normal. My Eggs Benedict ham was tough. That said, we will be back.
