"A pleasant surprise when we drove over the state. We didn't expect much, partly because the exterior needs a little facelift. But the food was fresh, well cooked and quite delicious. We have sushi, a tempura dish and some appetizers. The green tea was just a tea bag (as I am part of Japanese I am very picky about my green tea), but that was a fairly minimal thing with everything else great. The service was great and fast. The prices were fair. Very recommended!"

the only reason I give a 4 star is that I want to come back and be more impressed. on a Sunday when the bike was stopped for some remained here.

I've eaten at some of the best Japanese restaurants in the United States, and for where and what it is, Osaki does a fantastic job. It's our go-to in Hays (and probably Kansas) for Sushi. They don't have the nicest facilities, but they do have friendly staff and fresh fish. I had Sushi at a restaurant that was higher rated than Osaki in Manhattan, KS recently, and it just did not compare to Osaki's freshness and quality.
