"I can't understand how this restaurant has such high ratings from reviewers. Are they confusing it with another establishment? The lunch menu at Beijing China is quite disappointing. Yes, it’s affordable and the portions are large enough to feed an army, but most of the dishes have an artificial, freeze-dried taste and texture after being rehydrated. My colleagues and I tried several options from the lunch specialty list, including the Szechuan bean curd, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef, and they were all terrible.
