"I personally never leave reviews, but seeing the negative reviews on here really made me want to speak up. Went to this place today cuz a friend of mine said it might be better than santouka, which is saying A LOT. In response to some other reviews here, this place specializes in chicken ramen which is different from tonkotsu. I don't think it's fair to expect the same tonkotsu flavor from chicken paitan. (Why not just get tonkotsu... With that, I have to say this place might be the best ramen place in Chicago. Both the chicken paitan(very solid chicken flavor and the Tokyo classic shoyu are excellent. Noodles were cooked just right, the toppings were exceptional. I'd definitely go back aga...

Let's just say I'm addicted to vegan rams. So I'm helpless when I see it's offered everywhere, I have to try. I liked ramen takeyas vegan broth, it was nice and delicious. they even embellish the vegan ramen with upton's delicious sweet meat (a local brand). but the vegan noodles were not great. Actually, I would recommend ramen takeya to explore another noodle option. even rejoice, just something else. great atmosphere, but I am not excited enough to return ramen takeya. but if they change these nudes, I will give them another shot. I think their vegan smokers have potential.
