"We were quite disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. I had made a reservation for a birthday celebration, but upon arrival, we were informed that the kitchen closed at 7pm. The staff appeared surprised that I had booked through Open Table as they had no record of my reservation, and didn't even bother to check. The restaurant had just opened for the season on May 1st and will need to improve significantly in order to thrive during the summer."

They ran out of steaks, tuna, nachos and Vodka so the selection was very limited. It took an hour for the appetizers to arrive!! Otherwise really good. Our server was great. None of the issues were on him.

I’m sure the food and service would have rated much higher than poor had we actually been able to go to the restaurant; however, approximately one hour prior to our reservation time, we received a phone call telling us that our reservation was cancelled due to some hygiene and safety issues. Pity. Nevertheless, we will dine at Rustica in the future.

One meal lived mostly up to expectations, the other did not. Asked for apple juice, but received orange juice. Asked for scrambled eggs, but received dry toast with two poached eggs. I said I would accept the poached eggs, but being hard poached, the meal turned out to be very dry. The side salad of arugula was not dressed. The side order of pancakes turned out to be very good.
