"Nice ambience, terrific location overlooking the river, and genuinely terrific food. Out friends took us to Lucky Garden from over an hour away. They've been going there for more than ten years because they like it so much. There was an ownership change and my friends say the quality hasn't gone down at all. I had a Szechuan tofu dish right off the menu. It was very good and seemed entirely authentic (I lived a short time in Hong Kong but have never been to Szechuan Province; I have, however, spent a lifetime eating Chinese every chance I get). I found the vegetable dumplings to be a little dull; the wrapper, although a little thick, was perfectly flavored. My wife had mushu shrimp. It was delightful; the plum sauce was oddly thick, which that may be a regional variation, to but it had a great flavor. One of our friends ate from the buffet which I gather he always enjoys. The other had a steamed seafood assortment that she enjoyed very much. We will definitely be going back, commute and all. I couldn't recommend Lucky Garden more highly"

"Check your meals. I know accidents can happen but this was totally unacceptable. There was this in my husbands meal today. A lug nut they said off their frying machine: He did not notice it until he was almost done with his meal because it kind of blended it. The waitress did not even really apologize for it and did not comp our meal at all. We had two young children with us and if that was in their food they could?ve choked on it and the story could?ve been a lot worse. Really wish they were more apologetic and that they would have paid for this meal. We are going to call the restaurant and file a complaint. This is not OK"

"We were so excited to visit this restaurant. The menu looks fantastic. The mood is wonderful, such a beautifully decorated place. The oysters were good. The Speck Scallops were good and the apple butter was a nice taste. (but obviously reheated, not freshly prepared) The crab dive was nice and hot. The bakery was terrible, it ends for me, it wasn't even melted. The first bite I tasted blue cheese?!, in reality it was mold. I developed the bride and the lower layer was covered in black form. When I asked if there were blue cheese in the bowl, I was told that the coloring of blue berries and the taste of the wrapper was wrong! That was mold. They removed this from our bill, but they never said they were sorry. We were so disgusting that none of us had eaten. We just paid the bill and left. The service was slow and our drinks were never refilled. This was a very disappointing experience and unacceptable to serve mold food. Not recommended because of the poor quality of food and service problems."

"Yeah. Yes! Best Mozzarella Sticks I've ever had!! If you love your steak, this is the place for you! The service is phenomenal. You get to sit on your steak right away. It's clean. The staff is super friendly. If they bring your steak with you, they have it to see if it is cooked as you want and if they don't take it back and repair it. Service is a call. The drinks are really good. WARNING: You do not use peanuts for someone with a peanut allergy! It's really hard for very commercial restaurant chains to make me so happy with my food, and Texas Roadhouse in Augusta has made it!"

"This is not my first rodeo at an Applebees and after a long day of cheering competition, the family needed some grub and this was their choice. Establishment is located in an area with plenty of private parking and adjacent to several a major retailers and a grocery store. The location is obviously understaffed when you have a 45 minute wait at the door, but you can count 8-10 tables that are empty. I feel bad for the staff when they work so hard, yet they can 't fill the place to its full capacity. We waited about 35 minutes, but they take your number and you can sit in the car or inside where they will text you when your table is ready. I had the all you can eat appetizer option which boasted boneless wings, ribs and shrimp with fries. The ribs were 'ok ', but I enjoyed everything else offered in the bottomless option. My wife enjoyed her burger and fries. They hit the temp on the burger perfectly. The kids enjoyed their pasta and irresistible-a-bowl taking home some of the leftovers since the portion was quite large. Staff was busting their butt and I was sure to tip to reflect that. If they can get the staff to support a full house, they will do much better and offer some relief to the waiters and waitresses who look like they had a long day, but had a great attitude and continued to smile throughout the entire experience. The only reason for the 3-stars and the wait with many open tables. Food was great, staff was friendly, but the location needs to work on getting to full staff to support their seating capacity."
