"We finally gave the Anchor Inn a try it's amazing that a place only open 6 days a week from 5 to 10 for 60 years can provide such lackluster food. Below average is my observation. Now that is to say the food is edible but there is no passion, no artistry. It's a phoned in phony Italian food restaurant. If you don't care about spices and seasoning this place should be fine for you. The portions are decent the service was just fine. The decor is 1950's ski lodge with a touch of your grandma's kitchen. Big clunky chairs and tables packed tightly together. They have a full liquor license so you can get beer wine and mixed drinks. The prices were mid to fare. It would be nice if they made a nice...

Chicken parm is where it's at!!!!!!! Laid back simple atmosphere- nothing fancy- but the chicken parm is great!

Great place for a cozy dinner after a day at the beach. People are so great here, you feel like family. The food is tasty and portions are huge. Will definitely come back when in town.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I was disappointed to learn that they will be closing soon. Despite this, I decided to try the lasagna and I was extremely pleased with my choice. The portion size was substantial, the dish was served piping hot, and it was absolutely delicious.
