"We felt this was an odd visit. The food we ordered was great a little on the expensive side, but tasted good and fresh. We were greeted by, do you have a reservation? As out of towners, of course we didn 't. We were told we were in luck because they happened to have a table, right beside of the host stand. Not what we would have chosen, but we were glad to get in. We learned quickly that no one else coming had a reservation, but they got other choices for seating that we would have taken, had we know it was an option. Then we heard they were out of quite a few things. Since the menu was already rather small, that was disappointing, but understandable for a scratch made kitchen. I had hoped for oysters but found that none of their options were local (other than technically James River). Sampled a few but settled on NC shrimp. It was cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and delicious. For the price, I would have appreciated a side item, but it was a good portion of shrimp. The menu prices and employee dress suggested a higher class dining experience, but the atmosphere dodnt quite match. Overall it was ok and I would probably give them another chance if in the area."

"I picked to eat here for my birthday, what a mistake. We have eaten great BBQ all over America and this could be the worst we have had. Staff was not friendly, they were just meh order your food. No smiles, no warmth. Kind of like the food. It was all room temp. More than half the menu you couldn 't order. Sure we were there at 2pm, but they are only open for 3 hours a day. Green beans were from a can with no flavor. Potato salad didn 't have any seasonings in it. Ribs were tiny. My wife 's turkey sandwich was a small piece of turkey on a cheap white bun for $6. All the prices were 20-30% too high for how much food you got. Kids slider the lady putting the meat on put a good amount on it, then took most of it back off. My sandwich at $11 was good, but didn 't have a side. For that price it should have had a side and a drink. $50 before tip, for no drinks. That was 2 weak ribs, my good sandwich, my wife 's weak turkey sandwich , two kids meals and a small pint of potato salad. Every single member of our group is hungry still. If the food would have been perfect, then yeah I will pay more. This food was mediocre and way over priced for the amount that you get. Not going to let it ruin my birthday, but I would not recommend this place. Edit: just read your take on my review, so I thought I would give a few thoughts in reply. First, the manager was friendly and she was the only one. We were standing there discussing what to order, pretty standard when you haven 't visited a place before. The manager did come by the table and ask if we wanted another table moved over to us. She didn 't ask how it was or check in with us multiple times. If you look at my profile, I travel all over America and when you say I live under a rock, I find that offensive. If your green beans aren 't from a can, my bad, they still had no flavor. The pricing is high, I have been to many places with bigger portions of yummy food for less. Since you have a line in the morning, don 't worry about my though"

"The Edenton Coffee House is a spectacular place! I stopped here on 3 different occasions during my trip to Edenton in May. The coffee house is set up with an open floor plan with plenty of comfortable seating of all types. They offer baked goods and plenty of delicious snacks as well as products for sale such as, mugs, wall art and Awesome T-shirts (which I bought 2). The Vanilla Latte I ordered was made to perfection and the staff was especially homey and welcoming, like visiting a close friends house. Next time I’m back in Edenton, I will definitely be stopping here again and I recommend anyone visiting Edenton to stop by the Edenton Coffee House and get you a delightful cup of coffee."

"Calm down. Server needed a little to come, but was nice professional. The Chicken Club ordered Jamaican Jerk Salad. Chicken Club was dry even though it said it was marinated. One inch of both ends of the Bacon strips were burned. I asked for the first to come out. And they did. The Pommes were the best. Excellent. Jamaican Jerk was a bit on the mild side. Definitely not like real Jamaican Jerk, but a good attempt. The Jamaican Jerk chicken seemed amazed. It was tenderly drunk. The flavors could have been a bit more fat. 309 Bistro is a pretty little place. We hit the crowd. I imagine that so many visits are partly due to lack of decent decisions. Still, a good place to eat. But would definitely try other items in the menu. I bet some are excellent. We'll visit each other again."

"This McDonald's is consistently clean and recently started offering DoorDash delivery. The food is great, and while there are occasional issues with the ice machine—something I've noticed at many McDonald's—overall, I had a positive experience. The restrooms are clean, and the location has been recently renovated with a modern interior design that includes plenty of comfortable seating."
