"Our first impression driving up was that we were about to have a unique and memorable experience at The Tavern. The food did not disappoint and the service at our table was excellent. The only criticism I would give is when we walked in we had a few minutes to wait for our table and we felt like we were outsiders at the bar. We were going to get a drink and sit by the fire but it took awhile for the bartender to stop talking to what appeared to be regulars and wait on us. We did finally get drinks and sat down. Our favorite place at the lake. Service is great, they treat you like family. Best food in the area.
