"I went to a sandwich shop with a friend from work and we ended up receiving the wrong order. The most frustrating part was that all the directions were written correctly on a piece of paper that was attached to my sandwich, but still the order was incorrect. When I called to try and fix the mistake, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and then abruptly hung up on after voicing my complaint. The person I spoke to on the phone had no solution and did not handle the situation politely. With such high praises for their food, you would think it wouldn't be so difficult for them to follow simple directions written on a sandwich. Disappointing experience overall."

"With very few exceptions, this store delivers the best quality food, and also has the best customer service in town. I always order the Mexican side, and have asked for some minor things. They always take care of their customers, and what they deliver is some of the best Mexican food in Albany. Even the rare occasion that something isnt right- theyre right there to fix it. The food is authentic, consistent , and perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough. They deserve all the stars"

"I stayed at the attached Hampton hotel on business and was looking for a great dinner where I could dine alone. I was told by the desk to try this restaurant. I walked in and was astounded at how beautiful the restaurant and bar were, it was during the Christmas season. I was given a corner table by the hostess which I loved. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and was impressed by the menu (I have worked or consulted for some very high restaurants/retailers in Manhattan). I had a waitress, if I'm correct her name was Amy. She came off as very professional but in some ways sweet. She was a great waitress. She brought me my order perfectly timed from my cocktail to my wine to my appetizer to the entree and to the dessert. I knew I picked the right place when I ordered a Negroni and it was perfectly made. I had a great salad but I was most impressed by the cassoulet. I've eaten in Paris, Montreal, NYC etc. and it was probably the best cassoulet I have ever had. It was delicious! Everything else was also very good including my chocolate dessert. Unfortunately my espresso was poorly made. The flavor was there but not the technique. After my meal I felt so comfortable that I decided to stay a bit longer and asked Amy if the restaurant carried Amaro. She didn't know what they were and the bartender Peter immediately came to my table and explained what he had. To my surprise he had Amaro Lucano, a spirit from my wife's small town in Italy. Very hard to find. The bar has an awesome menu of wine, spirits and beers. He gave me the drink on the house and recommended that I try one of his drinks called a Boulevardier. It was excellent. Most importantly Peter was very professional and maybe because of my being in the food business too, he told me about the restaurant and gave me a tour. I totally felt his passion about his job which was great to see! Anyway he was a great bartender. In short, I totally loved this restaurant from its ambiance to its menu to its staff. Wish it were in NYC. Can't wait to go back!"

"First of all, there are not enough positive words in the dictionary to explain how amazing this place is. I have been going to Ruby for many years now, as I was lucky enough to have a friend show me the restaurant back in 2013. Ever since the first bite I have been absolutely hooked on the incredible flavor, menu and quality of the amazing food they have to offer at this beyond perfect establishment. Their sushi is by far the best sushi I have ever had in my entire life, and by far the best in the capital region, without a doubt. The entrees are also amazing (the sesame chicken has a crunch and taste you will literally not get anywhere else) and the portion sizes are unbelievable as well. The entire setup of the place is also extremely unique and provides the perfect aesthetic for amazing sushi and more. Not to mention the unbelievably incredible service that is provided EVERY SINGLE TIME. The owners and staff have been nothing but nice every single time I have eaten here, and provide a home-like feeling when I'm there. I will always choose Ruby as the best Asian bistro in the area, and my favorite Asian bistro of all time. I love it, and if you haven't checked it out, you need to RIGHT NOW!"

"Great place, friendly staff. Resturant is alway clean and free of any kind of odor unlike the delmar location. The food is amazing. I have gotten there lunch boxes many time, you get a nice amount of food for $10. And there ccc roll and shrimp tempura rolls are addictive! Eat here damn near once a week lol"
