"Absolutely the best Mexican food I ever had. The season on the Carnitas was fantastic, like nothing I've ever tried. Next time I go back to Storm Lake I will take a huge cooler and order one of everything they do to take home and try with my family. That's really good! And really cheap, it looked too cheap on the menu, so I ordered two dinners (Chile Relleno and Burrito dinner, but they were full size dinner plates, see photo. I had too much food to go home with my wife the next day. She said we should go back 4 hours to Storm Lake to get even more for lunch."

"I'm from Georgia staying in Sac City and have been looking all over for a BBQ joint for the last 2 months and finally came across this hidden gem. I had the Best Platter which includes 4 bones of pork ribs, about a half pound of chicken and a half pound or more of prime rib. I gotta admit I wasn't impressed with the chicken. It was dry and appeared to be dark meat which is great but it's hard to dry dark meat. The pork ribs were so tender I pulled each bone out one by one before I even started eating they were so juicy. The Smoky flavor was right on time but it was missing seasoning. Even a little more salt would have made a world of difference. The prime rib is 2nd to none, I could eat that every day of my life and be happy. Just perfect. For sides I got the potato salad which was excellent and I got the spicy baked beans. I wasn't impressed. They were spicy and that's about it. No bbq flavor or seasoning, just bland. The complimentary cornbread was tasty but extremely dry, I'd love to have it right from the oven, I'm sure there's a world of difference. There are 4 different sauces to choose from, I got the Mississippi honey which was awesome, my wife got the Memphis sauce which was very good too. They have a Georgia mustard sauce and a Carolina red sauce which I don't doubt is very good each but the problem is, I'm from Georgia, just across the border from South Carolina. South Carolina is well known for its MUSTARD SAUCE and Georgia it's well known for its RED BASED SAUCE. Georgia it's NOT a mustard based state. That should be addressed or maybe I'm just being a stickler because that's where I come from. Overall I'm going back and back again, it's a damn good restaurant with a great atmosphere and a huge 64 ounce beer served in a 64 ounce Mason jar. From what I hear if you polish off 5 with a punch card you get a free T shirt. Sounds worth the try."

"We visited our friends and wanted to try something new. We landed here after we fucked a little bit. Pancake with extra strawberries are huge about 5 inches. They are sweet and fluffy with a little smokey to taste. Photo included. Chicken strips with fries. My friends say they're good. Photo included. The land fried chicken was really tasteful and was crispy and soft at the same time. Potatoes are also very good. They're similar to Pizza Ranch. Photo included. Waffles. Fluffy with a little crispy. A little heavy on the butter, but overall good. Ends a second waffle. Also got hot chocolate that had a beautiful sweetness and not watered down. Photo included. Apple cake homemade and was served warm to not burn our tongues. Ice cream can be offered on time, but I have mine on the side. The cake has a hint of cinnamon. Photo included. Rhubarb cake was very good with ice with it. Photo included."

"Pros: Friendly staff Table is always clean Positive happy environment Patron margaritas on the rocks are the best here! Food is always the right temperature and not over-seasoned There's never a wait, however I like to go when it's a little busy so I can have 2 by the time we're done eating Music is not too loud, depending on where you're sitting...it would be nice to hear it a little more : Cons: There's really nothing bad about this place that I can think of! I've been here for almost 3 months and I come here ALOT ... more than 20 times!! They should give a punch card for regular customers! Recommendations: Patron margarita on the Rocks no salt it's so smooth, I can only handle two ... it sneaks up on you, and after one I'm really relaxed no salt rimmed, if you don't like salt being inside you drink. You know it's a good drink when you're not making a disgusting face, because all you taste is alcohol and not the margarita mix or you're not only taste in the margarita mix, but it's a good blend and very enjoyable! As many times as I've been here, you would think I would have pictures ... but I don't. I enjoy the environment, food, and the drinks, that I don't even get on my phone. I just realized this is the only restaurant that I go to and don't even glance at my phone. That should say a lot!"

"The first time I was here. We came in on Saturday night. And the place was full. I'm not waiting for service. One of the employees told us a table was open. And we went to the buffet. Many hungry people. The chicken was great. And the pizza is always good. The smashed perpetrators and fillings were fabulous. Great service and good food. I will recommend this place to my family and friends. I wish Cherokee had a pizza ranch. Good job Pizza Ranch. Well expend."
