"Bar was excellent. Predinnner drinks were very good, and the server was friendly, energetic and welcoming. We enjoyed the recommended cocktails and shared a calamari which was very good (although not as well done as I had ordered). Dinner was another story. We had a table jammed up against a service station which made for a chaotic experience. Our server was brusque and short tempered, as if we were doing him a favor by eating at his table. He also rushed us through dinner, having us through salad, entrees and dessert in 60 minutes, when we had made it clear that we were celebrating an event and wanted to linger. Cori, our waitstaff, did an amazing job informing us of the specials. We ordered one of each when we couldn’t decide because they both sounded delicious. She offered to split the dishes for two so we could each try the other’s. We cleaned our plates! Great food, cocktails and pre-show atmosphere! I am never disappointed at Zelo!

Zelo is one of our favorite places to eat before going to a show at the Orpheum. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is always enjoyable, and the service is always top notch. This time, we had the pleasure to have Benjamin take care of us. He was amazing and by far our favorite server yet. If you want a great place to go before a show, or just a nice place to eat, this is place is a must!
