"The old lich was a pleasant little restaurant approx. 1 block from the main pedestrian zone. With only nine tables in the main restaurant it was tastefully decorated, rather in the traditional style of a small German restaurant. We had requested a reservation and were asked if we could postpone our reservation either one hour sooner or later, because a large group was expected. This turned out to be a wise decision because the server was able to pay full attention to both our party and the big party. We had also indicated that we celebrated a wedding angerary and if we could have a table on the side and decorated it. They filled and we found the table very nicely decorated when we arrived. The service was excellent with the server waiting until we finished a course comfortably before the next one was served. Each plate was served at the appropriate temperature. The food was excellent. The menu was all ala Carte, but the prices were very reasonable, especially given the quality of food. Two different soups were ordered, a basalach (wild garlic/gramsoms) soup and the other beef broth soup with noodles. Both were excellent. Baerlauch was in the season and was new to me. It was essentially a bright cream soup with pure Baerlauch, making it a very subtle and unique taste, and contains two raviolis filled with Baerlauch. The beef soup was clearly freshly prepared natural broth and was also excellent. Three of the parties ordered the Argentine Rumpsteak with roasted vegetables. The steak was about 4 cm thick and was perfectly cooked after it was ordered rare or English. The roasted vegetables contained a mixture of zucchini, green beans, red pepper with olive oil and Baerlauch, perfectly boiled and slightly seasoned. The fourth person had a pork steak with roasted potatoes. The pig was also perfectly cooked and very juicy. A simple dessert from Walnusseis was ordered as we were all comfortable with the two courses. Of course, as we were in Lich, we had the local licher beer that is always good. Overall we had a very pleasant evening. I recommend tasting this restaurant. I have eaten in many local restaurants throughout Germany and keep these from my more unforgettable meals."

"We liked eating food there. The map was a beautiful mix of traditional and more modern Italian dishes, delicious pizza and delicious carvings. Service well. After some time we were not there, we decided our Christmas dinner on 2nd holiday in Calabria. Hard mistake! As we found later, the card was completely changed. Now everything is trimmed with truffles, buckets and liquors on the upper kitchen. The prices are accordingly screwed into the height. Unfortunately, neither kitchen nor service meet this requirement. The fact that there is a shortened card on holidays is normal and completely okay. Unfortunately, all the carving dishes on which my husband and my father-in-law were so happy were sold out. Keep Lasagne and Pizza Toscana. Three lasagna came, 3x lukewarm and so a small part that a normal adult cannot be fed. The pizza didn't come first. After the lasagna was reheated from the kitchen at the table (not without comment, but without apology with raised eyebrows), the pizza also came. The lush edge (almost 1/3 of the whole pizza) carrot burned black and not to eat. For the bargain price of over 13, € per dish. I can't. No comment on the burnt pizza residue on the plate again. My note that I want to replace the burned pizza rim for a free espresso was shoulder-cracked. Weak picture. We're not coming back."

"Wir waren zu Zweit im Zeitgeist und hatten dort einen wunderschönen Abend. Das Ambiente war schon beim Ankommen sehr einladend mit schöner ruhiger Musik und super bequemen Möbeln am Tisch. Was aber den Abend für uns besonders gemacht hat, war Birgit, unsere Bedienung, die uns ganz toll durch den Abend geführt hat. Angefangen von einer warmen Begrüßung, über die Empfehlungen der Gerichte, die Einem das Gefühl gaben, dass Birgit unseren Geschmack wie bei Stammgästen schon seit langem kennt. Sensationell auch die Gerichte (Hammer der flambierte Thunfisch und das Kotelett als Hauptgericht und Schoko, Zimt, Pflaume zum Nachtisch) und die unterschiedlichen Zutaten, die Zubereitung und Aufbereitung auf dem Teller waren perfekt, aber den Abend abgerundet und auf ein höheres Niveau gehoben haben die superlieben Gespräche am Tisch mit Birgit. Wir kommen für so einen besonders schönen Abend sehr gerne wieder ins Zeitgeist, vielleicht an Silvester 2025!"
