"I was wrongfully charged when visiting earlier this summer on 7/26. I remember the waitress offered to switch my drink since the first was too strong. When I ordered a pastry, I wasn 't informed it had coconut until it was brought to the table and then immediately told them I was allergic. I was having a tough day, visibly emotional as I was catching up with friends in the dinning area and was admittantly a bit distracted so I didn 't notice how much I was charged as we were checking out. $19.15 appeared on my credit card statement for apparently 1 coffee drink and the waitress said they didn 't take tip via card so I had stupidly left a $5 bill in the tip jar for them being so understanding and patient with my replacement drink. Why would someone be so crude to charge you for their mistakes? There are better artisanal coffee shops that don 't kick people when they 're down."

"It was a Birthday celebration which I mentioned in reservation. We made my husband wear a Birthday banner and only the person at the next table wished him a Happy Birthday. Was not looking for anything special but thought at least the waitress might have said something. The main restaurant was not very busy and have been many other places with alot more to offer for the prices. Would not be rushing to go back. The food was good so no complaints there. Seems like the bar area is more appealing for food as that area was crowded."

"The entre was burned on the bottom (chicken francaise). The Merion potatoes were not particularly warm. The roles were stale. When I received the check I was charged for two soup appetizers which were included with the meal. The waitress reversed the charges without problem"

"Host and owner ruined night... rude!!!! Delayed us very late and the owner tried to argue over minutes... our reservation was about 8:45 at 9:10 owners tried to argue, it was 7 minutes not their fault we came early.... we complained about sitting almost 30 minutes too late everything she could do is argue and do false mathematics.... Don't argue with customers!! Other guests complained about hostess with blond hair in blue dress then pregnant owner I use this term looslely in a hoodie very unprofessional... Such a shame that they ruined what might have been a nice evening. The oysters swim in the water because they melted ice for so long... they sent back. Pig chops were amazing. Couldn't do a proper check if witches guard the door. Sent salmon back unimpressed. I hate to give them a bad review, but had a very bad experience. Wouldn't come back."

"The food was great and service was exceptional (hard to find in Cape May during summer). We went there for dinner around 7pm, didn't have a reservation, while the restaurant was pretty much full, but my wife and I were seated right away. The kitchen was definitely backlogged as the food did take a while, but our waiter, James, was on his game and more than made up for the wait. The food itself was also worth the wait, my wife had the Chicken Marsala and I the Gnocchi, both delicious, but the Marsala took the W. "We took friends to dinner last night. We were all very impressed with the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. "Busy place! Clearly, people like the food and the ambiance. It seems like they renovated the place and looks very nice. We started with mussels with red sauce as appetizer. I liked it but it was much spicier than expected. I wish we had more bread to dip in the sauce. For the main course, I had spicy seafood combo. It was delicious and could not finish. My wife had chicken basil pasta and she liked it. The service was excellent! They turn the tables very quickly and work as a team. Next time, we will try their brick oven pizza!"

"We went to PSI for a milestone birthday, which we noted when we made the reservation. Despite a busy evening, I was a bit disappointed when we were seated in the chilly back room in a tight corner rather than the nicer dining room. Our food was okay, but nothing to write home about. For example, my husband ordered the halibut, but the bottom was slightly undercooked; it could’ve done with an additional 30 60 seconds in our opinion. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée with mixed berries, but that’s an exaggeration—there was 3 blueberries and 1 strawberry on top of an average crème brûlée. Finally, I was a little disappointed that the restaurant didn’t offer any additional birthday treat. That said, our server was lovely, attentive, qnd wished me happy birthday, which I appreciated! Overall, we felt it was overpriced for the experience. Maybe we’ll try again in the on season and see if it’s better then."

"After we left Tisha's, I told my husband that my meal here was one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant in a long time. After thinking it over last night, I realized it was one of the best meals I've had dining out EVER. We were with our dog, and they were gracious enough to accommodate us on the back dining area where we felt comfortable with him. They even provided us a doggie water bowl for him! We ordered the arancini appetizer risotto and mozzarella and it was outstanding. I noticed about five other people ordering it, as well. The marinara sauce was so good I ordered extra bread to mop it up with. Second course, lobster bisque. Yowza! Creamy, gorgeous soup with giant chunks of lobster. I could eat this every day and not get enough. My entree was the short rib bolognese. The pasta was done to absolute perfection and the shredded short ribs and sauce were unbelievable. The portion size was huge, but I managed to finish it all! I'm not one to order dessert usually, but I ordered the flourless chocolate cake, and again, it was beyond my expectation. Dense but velvety and perfect with the scoop of vanilla ice cream it came with! What a beautiful way to top off an amazing dinner. To top it off, we had the most AMAZING service from Sandy. She is a pro, one of the most outstanding servers I have ever seen. I now know why Tisha's has such a great reputation here in Cape May. I certainly can't wait to get back!"

"We wanted steaks and were willing to pay the price to get good ones. Unfortunately, none of the steaks at this restaurant were cooked to our specification. We all ordered medium: one steak was very rare and two were very overdone. We were too hungry to wait for new steaks, so we just ate two of them which, unfortunately, just weren 't very good. The third steak was so obviously overdone that we asked for a comp. before consuming it. The manager, Gary, came out and said the cook normally does not make mistakes, but he would give us 30% off the one steak or we could wait for another to be cooked. This was not acceptable and quite a bit of back and forth arguing took place. We finally said the $55 steak was inedible and to take back the entire meal without replacement to which Gary said Awesome and whisked it away. We did get the comp at this point for a meal that was not eaten. They also gave us a 15% discount on the other 2 bad steaks. This was an awful experience that left us all hungry and extremely disappointed. Our neighbors at the next table also commented on the poor quality of their meal. Do yourself a favor and don 't eat here."

"This restaurant is usually our favorite, but our recent visit was not the best. We were seated near the kitchen backdoor, where the noise from dishes clattering and voices made it hard to enjoy our meal. The ambiance wasn't great, but other parts of the restaurant are better. Our main dishes were just average. The prime rib, cooked medium, was tough, dry, cold, and overdone for the price of $54. The mashed potatoes were cold and crumbly. The salmon medallions were decent but not as exceptional as they have been in the past. We will definitely give this restaurant another try in hopes of a better experience, as we have come to expect great things from 4 10 Bank Street."
