"I always hesitate to give back poor ratings, but here today (Aug 2023), during our dinner, many things went wrong. We, a family of four, day 6 of our trip in the US, went out for dinner. Poor service: The waitress brought wrong juice, forgot to give cutlery, making faces, filling up the wine glass with wine, instead of pouring just an inch or so. After our complaint she disappeared and came back with the bill Food: With the salad one of the tomatoes was mildewed, from 6 oysters 2 were probably spoiled (although the owner later came and assured that he is 100% sure that the oyster all were good), from the pasta dish, the noodles had been cooked without salt. The orange juice was fermenting. The rest of the food was mediocre. Our best guess in favour of the restaurant, was that the main chef was off. As we have seen overall good ratings of this place. After complaining with the waitress some manager came, still aiming towards maximising the profit from our table, rather than trying to safe our experience. Some guy, apparently the owner, later on removed some items from the bill, juice, salad and pasta. Still, also he seemed to be more billing than customer oriented. Not unfriendly and not interested."
