I also saw a woman commenting a bad review and I think her view is b she didn't really know what she was ordering and she's not used to the cuisine. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed and this is coming from a Whitaker foody and Wanda DE Jesus a 5 star chef who is 74 years old said this is her new place for fried chicken.."

"A wonderful ramen option in the heart of Eugene. We have been looking for a replacement since moving from Michigan and a few here came close, but this definitely takes the cake. The options were numerous and we tried a few different appetizers as well, including the heavenly fresh gyoza and the KFC-Career Ending fried karaage. The atmosphere feels very authentic and we were greeted by a short older man with silver hair, peeking out from the kitchen to make sure he knew we had been seen. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a large menu will all keep me coming back for more and more."

"Been eating at Marche for over 25 years and usually it is excellent, however, recently we have had 3 bad or subpar experiences there. First was a $125 bottle of champagne we ordered. Served with no ice bucket to keep it cold and the waitress kept pouring it like beer constantly filling our glasses to the brim so the champagne would get warm in the glass. Second, today the eggs Benedict was served ICE COLD. And the replacement was hardly any warmer, we were really hungry by that time so just settled for cold food. Third to top it off the server never asked if we wanted coffee or even offered us a dessert menu after the meal. I realize staffing is a real challenge these days but from what I'm seeing Marche is slipping and for the price you pay to dine there this just shouldn't be happening. I have hope that things will improve."

"We like to go to P.F. Chang’s for the nice atmosphere and great service. The restaurant is spacious and the staff are well trained. They are always accommodating for various diet options and make good recommendations. The food comes with good mixed of fusions. We came back for birthday celebration on April, 2022 for dine-in, the menu changed, less food options, which was slightly disappointed."

"Decided to try this place out based on my brother's suggestion and word of mouth, but the place did not feel very Italian. I could be biased since I've been used to going to Olive Garden for Italian, but the way the place appeared looked more like I was going into a bistro or cafe.Our server/waitress didn't seem like they were enjoying the day, and that attitude was washed down on us and made feel a little uncomfortable. The menu options seemed more vegan/vegetarian and lacked enough interest, so I just went for the basic choice.About twenty minutes in and we didn't even get our water until less than five minutes before our food arrived. I tried to get the attention of our waitress or somebody, but nobody bothered. Even the utensils still had food residue on them, which started making me lose my appetite more and more.For an Italian restaurant like this, I did not feel welcome nor included, the atmosphere did not match very well, and the food was not well prepared and looked runny, failing to justify the expensive price for a small bowl of pasta. I hate to be the kind of person to give negative reviews, and maybe it was just one time, but unfortunately that one time was all it took to ruin the experience. You're better off making your own spaghetti or Alfredo."

"This restaurant is a local favorite that I had not had the opportunity to explore until recently. I heard there is usually a waiting period of 10 minutes, but after we found road parking, we didn't have to wait at all! On Saturday, 27th August, at dinner even, we were greeted directly in! The ambience is very theatrical/kozy/western. I loved the warm lighting, high ceilings and vintage decoration. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the MOST friendly, professional and PATIENT bartender I've ever met. It took some time to come for our food, but if it was EVERYTHING we would have wanted!! The veggie onigiri was balanced, light perfection. The Tofu skewer was so crisp, but still so silky/melt in your mouth that even this vegetarian did not want to believe it was real! And finally, after a dry/good balanced bottle of white wine recommended by our bartender, our last dish arrived. The veggie udon noodles were plump, drown in the most tasty, tasty herbs/garese broth can be imagined! Then I used the toilet room that was easy to find and very clean. Our tab was worth every penny, our experience: unpaid. If you are looking to treat yourself to excellence, or are on a date, this place is the perfect setting!!"

"I have marked 5 stars here, but I told the manager today that my actual review awards The Fisherman's Market 7 stars for outstanding food, service, staff, customer service, atmosphere, location, management... just everything!!! This is the first time I have even thought about giving 7 stars, and it's definitely a once-in-a-blue-moon thing with me. I have given only a few places 6 stars (in the review), and this was already going to be a 6, but they gave me reason to add one more. So here it is. I didn't even plan to walk in here, but I needed a quick bite before heading to the university either before or after catching a bus across town. I saw a couple happily chowing down on their meal on an outside picnic table in front of this place, so I stopped in my tracks, did a 180, and headed inside. This place is lively and electric in the best way, perhaps like Pike's Market in Seattle. Even when there were only 2 or 3 of us in line to buy a meal, ALL the staff behind the deli-style counters were visibly and audibly positive and upbeat at all times (in addition to serving us, they were processing many to-go orders as well). This is a seafood place, but there are also burgers for land lubbers. The fish stew was as good as if I were on the Oregon Coast getting it. My salmon burger was very good with the crosscut fries which come with it (I didn't know about them before). I am still impressed by the condiment bar in the middle of the dining area, which is an absolute must for a fish place like this. I ordered a soda (San Pellegrino to be specific), but with all the lively buzz in this place, the new gal in training did not clearly hear me and charged me for a canned beer, as they have a unbelievable selection of beverages in self-serve coolers. I didn't discover this error until after I sat down to eat and was looking at my receipt. I didn't let much time go by before walking back to the counter to let her know that I had been overcharged by $4. What caught me totally off guard was how quickly and cheerfully the manager stepped in and took care of this and refunded the difference in cash. I later told her that I could have asked for some of my tip in return as well (which would have been mathematically correct), but instead I gave back part of my refund as additional tip. That's how positive I felt about the outstanding service that I had received, along with everything else that just made me happy to be eating here. This is a simple, down-home restaurant-deli-market that has an incredible variety of fish and seafood to buy as groceries or to eat in-store, cooked to perfection. If I compare this with the multitude of seafood dives that I have eaten at before, it was the upbeat attitude of the staff that made all the difference for me. This is a one-in-a-million rare place where I actually feel welcome and wanted as a customer. Kudos to everyone who is a part of The Fisherman's Market. Having discovered this gem not far from the heart of Eugene, I will be back, and I will bring a worthy appetite with me."

"I am so excited to be able to visit Sip! I love a good champagne bar and this business is definitely fulfilling a big need for the city of Eugene! Sip is located in the old Sanctum Cafe spot across from the old Oregon Electric Station. Pay street parking and a pay lot just around the block. Today is the first day of them serving alcohol and I am very excited to be their first pour! They tell me they're going to be doing evening hours (5pm 11pm) in the future as well as mimosas for brunch. They have more than just sparkling wine, they have legitimate champagne here too. They also are still offering coffee in the morning. Can't wait to see Sip grow! This will be added to my must visits when I come to town each quarter!"

"I had passed by here many times but never stopped. Finally went this last Saturday and I'm disappointed I didn't try them sooner! The carne asada street tacos were absolutely fantastic, very healthy sized portions and excellent flavor. They definitely hit the spot. You can tell corn tortillas were made fresh. We just recently moved to this side of town and were looking for a great Mexican food place, and we definitely found it. The waitress/hostess was very friendly and helpful, and answered all of my questions. The ambiance of this restaurant is wonderful, and they have a cantina where you can have drinks. They have outdoor seating as well. My food was prepared with the utmost care, but also very quickly. It only took about 10 minutes to get the 7 tacos I ordered. Definitely looking forward to trying some of their other menu items. 12/10, will definitely be eating here again. Price is in the range."

"I have eaten an organic and usually vegan food for several years, and with restaurants like cafe yumm it is easy to do this! whether they are vegan, vegetarian, or a carnivore, but there is something for everyone in the cafe yumm. Fast, Delicious, Organic Meals are served in a light, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. they can choose from yumm bowls made from organic rice, bean, salsa, yumm sauce, bee, sour cream, avocado, oliven, and if they eat meat they can eat all white meats without additional hormonal (hold the milk and meat when their vegan and get extra avocado). these bowls are simple, but tasty and will drive them through their day. other options cafe yumm has to offer are homemade suppen, salad, a garlic veggie burger, tofu or tempe bento teller (my favorites is the tofu yumm bento with barbeque tofu and jasmine rice packings, and sandwiches. if they have not yet tried cafe yumm, they are missing!"

Yellow curry dish tasted well. While the pad thai was lacking in flavor spice, coming in as bland fish oil more noticeable. The interior design of the dining area is nice clean."

"Lunch on the way through Eugene to our campsite on the Crescent Lake. The food was so amazing that we praised stopping on the way home. And we did! The Dan Dan noodles are so savory and tasty. The Szechuan dumplings come with an incredibly tasteful spicy sauce. The cold noodle was delicious, but nothing compared to the blowing beef . Do not miss this place."

"I've never tasted as good as the food here. I have no complaint at all. The servers were very friendly and attentive. I have the pig steamed dumplings and beef curry boog. The beef curry is from this world and perfectly balanced in taste and of course the pig dumplings were to die. My husband and I left so full and satisfied. I can't wait to come back. "I'm not sure why it took me so long to try this place, its pretty amazing. I have to come back and try the Greek food, this time, on recommendation, I came for the reubs. I try reubens in the whole area, some here are perfect, some are terrible.. The trade winds are nothing less amazing! Sure, were not in New York, I have no idea how they are there, but for Oregon, the Ruebens are absolutely wonderful in this place! came with frits that were hot, and also delicious! I grew up buying so that beer and cigs at Jiffymart long before the chains convenience stores moved in, so the location was familiar and comfortable. I go back and try more, but it will be difficult not to order the reubs again."
